Barclay is getting looked after at the Wests despite what they say. But, his main reason for leaving KP I hear, is joining mates Castello, Pappa and Pardo.
K Park would be devasted to lose the man, but he has been a 300+ player and has been a great panel member on EDFL TV Show. He is the man who could lure Mercuri to the Eagles.

Zerafa is pretty certain who Aussie Dude is, he is telling me and agrees with me that he is very inaccurate.

Bicer and Bakoulas are two of EDFL's best and it would be sensational to have them back in the Comp. But, from all reports the Heidelberg Prez has been great to them and they are both great blokes who would never deliberately do the wrong thing by clubs.

Airport West is obviously in envy as Marby have recruited 5 top notch players and have lost 5. 4 to retirement and 1 to Gisbourne.

What happen to APW's youth policy??? Spending money on Pappa, Michael Martin, Verral, Barclay, Castello,Rocky Senese, Silv, Ray Steer, Collier, Pardo Cam Eaton and trying to get Mercuri. That would be 12 players 28 or older.

Suppose none get paid or if they pay them for less, it couldn't possibly happen to another club, like it has to Marbo.
As the APW people will tell you, blokes come back to play with their mates. You've been hanging out with KD too much.

Murphy has been set up with a good job in a printing firm as far as I am aware and I have no idea what the other guys are on but probably no where near as much as everybody speculates!

Fellas howare you? What an excellent website this has become to keep all informed. I rekon B Grade and A Grade are ready for a hot season. There are many opinions and many guesses. That is the fun of it.

Russian. Stoney does know more than me. EDFL but, oooh I rekon I might just have the man covered.
Fellas Marby and W.Cob you would have to give the favouritism too. They have both picked up excellent and lets not forget W.Cob U/18's flag is going to blood them the 3-6 recruits that Premiership clubs usually blood. APW and G'Roy will be very close. Both 12 goal better sides then last year. T.Lakes and Westy are my other two picks, with Paco pretty close. As a Marby player I am getting prepared for an extremely tough year. Luck and injuries will play a big part in the end results.
DOM. Our players we have lost are; Livingston (GONE), Howard, Milo Bangit, Sash, Den Delac (Retired)
DWIGHT/RHOMBUS. It would be a big committment for Bicer to stay when he knows NOBODY. You have to consider this. Local football is for fun and at 27y.o you can get over trying to make new bunch of mates. But, he is a H'Berg player still.
Keilor have signed to blokes from the SANFL. All reports they go well. Wessons and Smith.
Look out for Keilor, Greenvale, Douttas, Abers and The Mighty Avondale Hts to be Strathmores main target. If I am a betting man. A 2005 - A Grade GF replay looms a big possiblity.

Murph way lower than H'Berg. Got a great job at Printing Warehouse and Assistant Coach which he wanted.

A mate of mine who works with John Bell told me that Garbutt and Bell have come far cheaper than everybody thinks and just really want to play in a premiership.

I have also heard that Murphy has turned down numerous big offers as he wanted to play with his mates. Murphy has been running with Matthew Pillios around Princes Park and he is looking as fit as a fiddle!

Rabee and Flavel have returned to West as they are also keen to win a premiership!

Can Cameron Hare play? Won the league medal in the 3rds last year and hasn't trained a day at Strathmore so far this year. Plays cricket with one of the assistant coaches at Wallan. Any chance he may be a magpie in 2006.

Yes mate. I will hoping to be playing in our one's. I was dropped for the Prelim Final last year after playing all 18 matches in the Seniors and was very disappointed. First Res match since I was 18 and it was very different. Played for Greece also and we won it. The team we had might of nearly won an A Grade Flag. We had many EDFL, DVFL and WRFL players.
Some were; EDFL-Bakoulas, Hyrousolakis, Rosios, A/J/D Lambropoulos, Rousakis, Zousounis, J. Angelopolous, Rombotis, Bouzoukis, DVFL- S.Vass, Lekkas, WRFL - J.Condos, S/T Zavalas, K.Karavias.

Is Big RHOMBUS any relation to Johnny Rombotis. ow about Ty Zantuck posibly to Rox Park if he doesn't play QFL.

He is 28 in August. He has just lost the itch a bit and has received a promotion in his Financial Advising job. Went to Uni together and mate if I didnt have him in Accountating. I would still be there.
Dont know how these Asian blokes are so good with numbers!!!

I was led to belive he was the assistant coach and had played 60 odd games at williamstown

This fight is quite amusing, i find it funny how ausse_dude names all the players and you backtrack by saying 'how many would play if not being paid' thats classic backtracking and conceding the points lol.

Anyhow the EDFL is a shocking standard by probably Greenvake,Strathmoore,Keilor and Oak Park on a regular basis, i saw a few EDFL games and the EDFL Grand final and they where fairly good, the standard was good.

However spending almost 99% of my time in the GV (Goulborn Valley) i can categorically say without any hesitation that bar probably Greenvale and Strathmoore (on a very very very good day) the standard in footy is streets apart. The good players and sides in the GV would embarass EDFL sides, i mean really make them look like a bunch 3rd rate sods, the standard of footy is uncomparable.

Will be interesting to see how Adam Winter goes in the VFL next season if he actually does go otherwise he might be playing his trade in the GV next season, that would be a real good tester for him. On Matty Towner, how much has that bloke gone downhill, in under 18s he was a jet and used be 1 of only 2 or 3 descent Jets players along with Knez and say Mckenzie but gee Towner has turned into a complete camel, one of the worst downhill performances from a kid who played Essendon VFL i have ever seen.

Winkel was a Southern Stingray as well. It's a shame i hear people talking about Towner like this but then again i think he would just be following in his brother Lee's footsteps as well as another ex Jet Scott Allen
