Just wondering Caveman, living out at Bendigo why such a keen interest in the EDFL and West Coburg?

Mate I was born and bred in West Coburg. I lived there until I was 20 years old. Played under10s and 12s at West Coburg. Then made a comeback and played under18s at North Coburg and a Whopping 2 reserve games!

EDFL 2006 - Does mate agree that Johnny Bell is tough like his boxing bro Tiger Timmy Bell???

Spoke to friend and he said Johnny Bell is as tough and nails and that Marby are lucky to have him. Will definitely be hard at it!

A mate of mine who works with John Bell told me that Garbutt and Bell have come far cheaper than everybody thinks and just really want to play in a premiership.

I have also heard that Murphy has turned down numerous big offers as he wanted to play with his mates. Murphy has been running with Matthew Pillios around Princes Park and he is looking as fit as a fiddle!

Rabee and Flavel have returned to West as they are also keen to win a premiership!

You are kidding yourself mate.. Hasn't garbutt already won a couple of flags?? Why would he go to marby to win a b grade flag... Doesn't make sense!! League b and f too.. He has nothing else to prove or gain apart from some coin

Isn't Garbutt now about 32yo and coming off an injury interrupted season?
The fact that he's already got an A Grade flag may be a big reason in why he's dropping back to B Grade to play with his best mate.
He might figure that he's been to the top of the mountain in A Grade and now that he's getting on a bit and battling injury - but will still be mighty handy in B Grade I might add - he's content to just run around with his buddies without the added pressure of A Grade.

Whats the go with Barclay going to APW ????????

Huge loss to the KP faithful

No more dash and blid turns from full back.

There is only one winner out of this,

B Grade,

You are spot on there Grandale. It must be blokes with No mates who just do not understand or from blokes who do not play. The knee is not as good, the itch and fire is not burning as high and he's crew of Weston, Zerafa, Athos and Sash are at Marby. Once blokes get older they tend to start putting enjoyment before cash. Look at APW - Castello, Pappa, Pardo, Barclay, Senese are all good mates and W.Coburg - Rabee, S.Vass, Micklewaites are all good mates with Zouzounis, Roosta and Vic Kheir.
Grandale you are spot on mate. Pre season training tonight. Thank Christ the weather has gone back to normality.

. ow about Ty Zantuck posibly to Rox Park if he doesn't play QFL.

Why would Zantuck give up living in sunny Noosa and play with Roxburgh Park?

Even $2000 a game would not be worth giving up that lifestyle.

Keilor Park are back in town. A lot of hard work over the past month by
Kempster, Misiti and the KP committee have seen them recruit a few good names. Broadbent has resigned and some good names have been recruited.

I bumped into Ty last nite and had a drink with him. Football is the last thing on the kids mind, but he looks very fit and strong.
He would come to Melb to be away from his parents and play with mate Rombotis. I am guessing he will stay up North, but he was telling me how he would dominate the Comp, etc.

what about his lifestlye, will he be able to change it??

Not quite sure what lifestyle you are referring to.

I think Ty's problem at AFL level was not his "lifestyle", as there are many other AFL players that party harder than him, it was more the fact that he got caught.

I for one, hope he stays up north and starts a new life out of the media spotlight that hasn't been kind to him.

Corey Brown,

Not sure about slow ??

ceratinly not one of the fastest in the side, but as a former great KP full forward once stated,

One of the greatest readers of the game ever
