EDFL moves

Well boys, it looks like the info I received last week re West Coburg was on the money. Here's a follow up for you all, I again had a word with a fella who gave me the following: "WC are in big trouble, no coach etc! R.Houchar saked from the club(for carrying on and not wanting to change off the ball during games).......the bullsh it just keeps rolling on......lol He walked off the ground Saturday, didn't shake any players hands got his bag and went home! ." So there it is .
Anyway, surely all diehard EDFL followers must be licking their lips re the Strathmore v Doutta Stars showdown this week. Word is the EDFL hierarchy are meeting officials from both the 'Mores & the Stars tonight, to decide whether the game will go ahead at Lebanon Res due to the condition of the ground. Wouldn't it be a great finals preview for perhaps the League to re-schedule it for Sunday at Windy Hill. Might be a bit hard to organise though.

That is amazing about R.Houcher couldnt have come at a worst time. Marby and Airport West would be sitting back and loving it..

Is the Lebanon Res in that bad condition that they need to move it????

Windy Hill would be great for both sides and a Sunday game would be even better they would get a huge crowd out there....

Yeah Bricksta, bit unfortunate for West Coburg - feel a bit for the Coach, sounds like he had had enough of inflated egos. Lebanon Reserve is a disgrace, you can't surely have the current best sides showcasing EDFL on an oval needing such urgent repair. They had the cash to repair it earlier, but they forget about the bucket loads they needed to come up with, to keep their 'Long-term' players on the track .

The decision on the ground should be made straight away once the EDFL, and Clubs, have met. The Stars have apparently sent off a fair letter of request, with it concentrating on their 'Duty of care' to their players, the Umpires and Strathmore players. It would be inviting to see them both on Windy Hill, and perhaps see how far Doutta have come. As well as to see if Strathmore can get over Doutta's who have beaten them on the past 3 occasions.

Its a huge issue for WC - but if there is turmoil, they're not showing it on the field - could probably coach themselves anyway......with a team undefeated and finals looming, you'd think common sense will prevail and all will be settled this week - rabee would love to play finals footy again and even another best in comp - Zou would love to coach a flag, especially after the work he's put in all year.

Keep us informed ghost - be great if EDFL MAN could fill us in - we need him to lift his self imposed bigfooty ban..... you'd think Marby, Tulla, APW and Pacco have got the ears to the ground.....

Another of Brickstas mates up on the balconey. Wasn't the "duty of care" Douttas were concerned about, it was the "duty of scared". Looking for excuses before a blow is struck. The Lebanon is as good a condition as many others with Buckleys not too flash upon my inspection on the weekend.

Whilst on the subject of the mores, heard one of there recruits from the WRFL ( hoath ) is unhappy. Whinging that he is not getting a go?
