Seen as though the B-grade season has come to an end, has anyone got a possible B-grade team of the year? it will be interesting to see if they differ from sides posted at the halfway mark of the year.

Does anyone want to have a crack at A Grade

HAMMER,

Lets hear some suggestions for finals grounds from u??

IMO Jacana has a great playing surface and its all about the players not the supporters, so i think its a good idea playing on Jacanas ground.

You are quick to bag it how about some facts supporting your arguement??

i agree its all about the players, however no supporters = no cash,
no cash = no players.

when looking at FINALS venues there are a lot of determining factors

1. Ground, size-shape-condition
2. Facillities for players, supporters and OFFICIALS
3. Location and Accessibility
4. High or Low maintenance in regards to enforcing league rules
5. Security ( safety ) of players and officials
etc
etc

not all venues pass on all criterias, some areas may have to be compromised on.

Venues that have more ticks than crosses
1.Essendon
2.Coburg
3.Keilor
4.Greenvale
5.Glenroy

from what i hear, your coached had signed with braybrook for next year awhile ago[/quo

Wouldnt surprise, his actions clearly stated that he didnt want to be there.:( He was told in a round about way by the players that there was no discipline at the club and l think he took it personally. After that, it all went down hill rapidly. He`s a great bloke to have a beer with but l think he will be better suited to braybrook anyway, his coaching style suits them better than us. Best of luck to him with what ever he does.:thumbsu: :thumbsu:

D-Mac the reason for R.Gilpin being a CHB is because of his accountability, Gilpin is also a proven player at A grade level, had a great season from all reports. :thumbsu:

That's correct, Miss Ward is the feral in question!

I can't wait for this counselling to start.....
Gee EDFL Man, not a fan of the feral in question. I heard she was a wonderful woman who enjoys a quiet drink and a game of Pool. You wouldn't invite her around for a game? :D

I think he played at East Keilor a couple of years back, then went back to Marby.

Correct G Ghost, you know your footy champ! ;)

He played TAC Cup under 18's (Calder Cannons) and won there B & F.
Played at the Coburg Tigers for a couple of years then went to East Keilor, now playing at marby park. Good player who never gives an inch. :thumbsu:

I'm sure she's a lovely lady, must of got her on a bad day. ;)
As for the old SG's pool antics.......l heard she doesn't mind the game........:D

I also heard she doesn't mind playing pool with certain marby park people or should l say "old timers" down there.......:p

Spot on Cud - Boof played a couple of years at EK missed a few with injury but was still a key in that side and then returned to MP. On the other side of the coin Col Laurie has played one yr in A Grade, 2004 i think. By all reports he had a great year that year and held his own against a few handy forwards, on the back of that season Keilor were that keen on his efforts they tried really hard to get him there last year but failed. Both great tough players but Boffa just on experience.

I'm lead to believe she lives around the corner from the ground.....

She was once a marby lady, the boys down there saw the light at the end of the tunnel and sent her packing! :p

Heard she was in a package deal with a former marby park coach B.Grey? :p

You seem to know alot about local footy G-Ghost, any truth to that?

Wonderful response EDFL Man :thumbsu: , though I don't believe she was part of a package deal, not according to my source. Tullamarine had enquired about Gray, but he declined, though SG was only too happy to go to Tulla apparently. :D

Bricksta, you're down there more than myself. I only rely on a couple of mates for the info, aren't you deeply involved at the place. Or aren't you privvy to that sort of info? C'mon Bricksta give your fans something.
