Obviously you know very little about the movement of the great man. Would have stayed at Buckleys if shown any respect at all. Left Douttas being owed money and the abuse he and his wife has received since has certainly convinced him he made the right choice.

Just like at the start of last year when winter said to GV, this is SM's offer, can you match it. GV said they couldnt, and thus he plays for SM. Its evolution my friend.

GV had 8 home growns on the weekend, and there are 2 more in Lenne and Karabadjak that wil def play next week to bring it to 10. Not bad but still no Keilor.

Talking to a guy from Pascoe Vale last week and he seemed to think that they would be pretty confident playing West Coburg in the prelim. Thought that they took a lot out of the Qual. final loss to them and would do a couple of things differently next time round.

I know the answer to those questions already, l just wanted to know the general perception on what people think about West Coburg.

WC have some big ins this week. On that note it will be a far different team than when we meet Pacco two weeks ago.

Hope to see GA on the wing again this Saturday.
As for the outcome of the football club, let you know when l find out.

It has been said that GA will not be coaching next year, will he still stay on in some role/sponsor?

lol mate our coach is trying to get a side together with APW people so our future is secure. You boys are probaly the better side this year so enjoy it because when the money runs dry and it will, your players will be running faster.

As for sour grapes we gave it a crack, as much as im spewin, i was rapped by the way we played in the finals.

Abers, Holman met with Doutta's hierarchy pre-season of 2005, and was told wouldn't be getting the same coin as he had been on, would need to take a cut, wasn't happy and took the better offer at Strathmore - FACT. Not that I have a problem in fellas getting what they want. He is a great player that could name his price at a few clubs. A few of the boys from Leb Res were spoken to and the fact is that Greenvale, Douttas, etc. couldn't compete with the coin being offered by the Mores. Good on Strathmore for being in that position, same as Marby, my only concern is when the well runs dry, what happens to the clubs then.

VERY surprised to come on here and see nothing about the incident that happened on Saturday between Doutta Stars and Strathmore in the U18’s! I was sitting at the other end of the ground when it happened and I could only JUST make out what happened but it was confirmed afterwards that a Doutta Stars player grabbed the umpire and rag dolled him as such 3 times. And it was alleged he hit him twice with two short soft jabs to the face(not sure about that statement – that’s what was told) but he DEF grabbed him and rag dolled him 3 times back and forwards (saw that with my own eyes), the umpires shirt was ripped so that’s proof in its self the kid will get life!

Cudders also watched your game on the weekend… great kick on ya son but you need to utilize that! play like steward does and get cheap hand balls and pump it in long.
As for Flavel you got a problem when you play Marbi!!?? I watched the last home and away game that you played touched the ball 3 times and then on the weekend after you kicked 2 in the 1st quarter you didn’t look like touching it afterwards, that young kid has got the wood over you!
Theres a major discipline problem at West Coburg, the team does not like to man up! Agresta kicked 10 goals and there was nobody near him all day!

That’s all from me now! look forward to douttas beating greenvale by 10 goals in the seniors – west coburg thumping Pasco vale and get into the real stuff in 2 weeks time!

Can anyone tell me about the Greenvale/Keilor game on sunday? heard it was real close.

Greenvale was ripe for the picking and Keilor tried hard but couldnt get the win, the last quarter was a ripper, was goal for goal. Keilor lacked a good ruckman especially in the last when it was almost all greenvale from the bounce, was a decent size crowd and plenty of feeling in the game, even lee fraser getting fired up!

Wouldn't mind the cheap handballs every now and then, they just dont give them!

True EDFL Man the problems will be fixed in good time, but its just a shame that it will cost you a flag. l think its safe to say that there will be a few changes down at shore reserve very shortly

Thats correct Heartbreak, things off the field are going great along with the juniors. Lets just hope the club can keep all there current under 18's players for next year.
