EDFL moves

Wasn't too bad.....about 30 or so, which included some 18's as well. Not as many senior blokes, but early days.

3.5k run, followed by a beep test......don't you love pre-season training.

The club is talking to a few players who have shown interest from other EDFL clubs, won't give any names but will be great pick-ups.

At the moment Eaton seems to be the only "new" player to the club, but still early stages.

where bouts these players that have shown interest from? a grade sides? clubs?

Don't think it is his fault that he doesn't handball as much, coaches never instructed the runners to get around him. Finds a fair bit of it around the ground.

Can he be fitted in??

Without a doubt!!

The inclusion of Eaton will strengthen CHF and McCallister and Bruno in the ruck, if a player like Pearce were to arrive, all would depend on form, injury etc.

You watched APW play this year....what do you think?

No doubt height was their problem,

The talls you did have seemed slow, and unable to go forward when needed, (the westmeadows game late in the year, shocker from Bruno)

I think he needs to play 3 - 4 qtrs each week, always been efective in the 2's when given ground time. Would hate to see him move and warm the bench again,

play him in the ruck and change him out of the pocket, good old fashioned footy !!!!

Asked that question as well Nemo, is keen to stay in A Grade in 07....finals side in 06, so probably decided to have another crack in A Grade footy.....good on him, only a young bloke and apparently can play!!

Can any one tell me, any truth yet in the rumour abt alessio at apw?? ,
Also saw the marby boys on the track must have been 50 of them . a lot of agrade faces amongst them - saw both ziros & mickelwaite from o/p and janezic from a.h
As sides return to preseason it will get interesting now as to who retains who and can get some late signings , with the new transfer system , theres not too much a club can do to keep players if uncontracted .
interesting to see if any clubs left themselves in vulnerable positions and loose many,

Imo ...last yrs agrade top 4 will dominate , but we may see improvement from keilor park / cragieburn / abers while avondale & oak park look to have dropped away
any news on this group of 5 clubs

bgrade will be interesting with Marby /APW & Paccoe

Real good footballer, great kick and reads the play well.
