Hey Big Tezza.....Don't worry too much or get frustrated with the baiting. The League will stretch this one out. By the time the investigators report comes in and is analysed and a tribunal is convened the Grand Final will be over. Potter will play and so will H if we make it. There will be no case to answer. The issue will go away or GV and SM will withdraw their complaints. By the way, H is a great guy. I would want him in the trenches with me.

I think you need to actually see the footage buddy. Word is it is not looking good for H who not only jumped carelessly into a pack, but actually laid knees into poor DiSipio.
Also can anyone remember what happened to H after the last time he knocked out a Greenvale player? Weren't there many weeks to be had on the sidelines?
The postman just dropped off some further info...... My mail suggests that if H is found guilty that he will be banned for life by EDFL due to previous indescretions hanging over his head. Can anyone confirm??
Both investigations will be heard Thursday night and both players will know the outcome then. The League are on the ball with these two and have acted swiftly,as they should

Not sure how many exactly. He was suspended earlier this year I believe.... That was what I was told too, that he would be banned outright - if he received 2 weeks or more this time and then have to apply to the relevant league committee if he wished to play again.....

Im pretty sure that Simpson got investigated for breaking a kids nose at abers in 2004. Im not sure what came of it.
There is a rule in metro football, i think, that seems to deregister a player if they get 16 weeks in their career. Simpson may be getting close to this mark.

a couple of big preliminary finals coming up in the essendon league this weekend..will any upsets be produced like last week..
A grade preliminary Final: Strathmore Vs Keilor.
The mores must still be a little dumbfounded after last weeks quest for the threepeat took a big nose dives at the hands of a faster more cometitve and tenacious greenvale. With most of their guns being kept relatively quiet too much fell on the likes of Adam winter up forward jordan doering and richard little too curve the greenvale momentum...
while 15 minutes away down at coburg, keilor were in red hot form disposing of avondale heights in convincing fashion, the blues were in control all day after a competitive first term, but then the likes of marcy, mick james and condos took control to earn the a slot in this weeks prelim.
All year its a been a case starthmore being the 2nd best team and Keilor being 3rd best, but after a late round upset where keilor beat strathy by 9 points at kelior, and with their surging confidence and form, keilor must fancy their chances to over come the mores in what should be an old fashioned blockbuster at windy hill..
my tip...keilor in a shock upset by 5 points...
B grade preliminary: Maribyrnong Vs Pacoe Vale
Not many people would have predicted this match up in a preliminary a month ago, but hats have to go off to the vales for getting to the second last week...we can all imagine what the coaches would have been like at marby this weekend and with a full head of steam all that can be said is...LOOK OUT PACOE!!
the main advantage for pascoe vale coming in will be the advantage of playing on a big ground again like windy hill, which isnt disimilair from their own home ground which will suit their young quick legs like bottomley and tucker, while hoping that their big guns Omeara and meacham can deliver the goods again...
will windy hill again prove to be marbys downfall?
can they shake the demons of last week and allow experienced veterans powell, ziros and micklethwaite to overpower their opposition??
Marby have to worry about the vales and get their focus off getting redemption on tulla next week..or pascoe vale might slip by em....
my tip, marby to get some respect vack and prove a point that theyre still the big boys of the comp...marby by 50 points..
