I dont think the raciest comments are needed the day was though spoiled by the idiot supporters who ran onto the ground and belted players in the 18s game both clubs need to be investigated the good part is that its all on video and some of those spectators could be on assult charges both clubs need to be delt with by the league saw and heard some greenvale officals tell some of spectators who mind you are young kids that they will be kicked out of the club so to those officals stand tall and take action or they will continue to give the club the bad name

What happened with this barney. Did it start on the ground between players and supporters got involved or what?

Congrats to GV on their win in the GF. Two best sides all year and it went down to the wire. Just too good in the end but the Mores did all their supporters proud. Played about as well as they could but didn't quite get there. GV supporters around me handled the win as you expect people who have never played the game to act. Have some respect for the contest. After all its only a game and pre-season starts in a couple of months.

True Nemo Holman is heading home - to Moonee Ponds. But did announce his retirement. Will still be involved and is a great asset to have.
My feeling is C.Hille to coach again, although nothing official as yet.

Was at the game yesterday, cracking standard, about as good as it get at any level in Victoria, great effort by Greenvale, Supers speach at 3qtr time was spot on.

Saw Dale May get cleaned up a few times, probably deserves everything he gets! is one of the biggest mouths on the footy field and a massive jib, great hit on him from 1 of the Pekes twins. Anyone see when the Pekes twin hip and shoulder May in the last qtr and he went down and was whinded?? he came off hahaha, in a grand final he came, I mean I think the runner was even telling him to stay on the ground but the guy started running off..... I could not fu cking believe it, I know that if someone hit me I could have a broken rib and I would still battle on in a GF.

Anyway I thought Strathmore looked the most dangerous all day, could have broken Greenvale open on more than a few occasions. Quinn was average but you can tell his quality, Winter was solid, could have killed the game had he kicked straight and Doering had the X factor about him.

Overall it was a great day out, both teams are fantastic to watch, it was a shame someone had to lose but thats the way footy works.

Greenvale - Congratulations is in order. As a club you have come along way. From the Days you signed Mario Bagnato from St Albans when you were in B Grade, you made your intensions very clear with a 3 grand sign on fee. But all this does not matter when you have your U/18 - 2nd and Seniors all playing in a Grand Final. It was an excellent effort for your 2nds and 1st to come home with the goods. You have shown as a Club that you will spend money to maintain and continue your success and you also have a graet senior structure in place to do so. You also have shown that when adding new additions to your list it has been done with great success. Unlike the mores who's U/18's just missed out and the 2nds were no where to be seen. Winning a Premiership is a huge effort and what every club sets out to achieve every year. So once again I take my hat off to the Jets on a great year. Well Done Boys.

I can tell you that all the ACTUAL GV supporters didn't even know most of the kids that jumped the fence yesterday in what was a disgraceful display and anyone identified as a member of the club will be swiftly and heavily dealt with. Was a shameful start to what turned out to be a fantastic day for the club!!

I havent really followed B Grade this season but in terms of your first point i would say Nath Zeraffa would be a nice inclusion in any A Grade club and Power not sure of his first name but plays forward is very good and a mate of mine who watched the granny reckons a wingman number 30 maybe is pretty handy.

But yeah point taken macca there wouldnt be a whole heap that would play in a good A Grade side,in particular the Mores and Vales and maybe a couple of other clubs.But they have finally done it after a long time so it will be an interesting year in 08 to see how they go.

GA will probably have one massive crack at it before the points system comes in to play in 2008.

I'd say he'd be really keen to have a crack at Greenvale in a final next year.

Will Garbutt, Price, Ziros, Boof, Scotty and Harro play on next year?

The monkey is now off the back at Marbi and there has always been talk that if they made it to A Grade blokes like Bullen, Haynes and Murphy would always be a chance to play.

It's almost as bad as blokes potting May. I also saw him take a hammering more than once and at the end of the game he was still running

Neither club would be happy with their players but I would certainly say that the mongrel spectator that jumped the fence and proceded to king hit a Keilor player from behind should be banned from ever entering a football stadium for life.

I think you have misunderstood me im not saying that Strathmore are a disgrace,not at all they had a good crack and weren't far off winning.What i ment is its embarrasing to the whole comp in a way to allow a team to win every game.So i guess its not an even comp and no sour grapes from me as my team didnt fair to well but i guess most clubs dont have a chance.

Last year there was a few games between 4th and 5th which is a big gap and while my team was second i guess a more even comp would be better for all.And even though this year at one stage there were a few teams battling it out for 3rd and 4th it was pretty obvious from the start that the top 2 was settled.So i guess it was lucky that Strathmore were around so that Greenvale had some competition atleast
