See I disagree as a great example was Ben Bozinovski who left Keilor to go to APW for more opportunities. He was a talented junior and in the leadership group at Calder Cannons. Didn’t get opportunities.I’m pretty sure I said there’s enough evidence to suggest that McGuane will play them if they’re good enough. I don’t think he’s in the game of gifting games to satisfy some outsiders
I believe Cooper-McKenzie George is good enough to play senior footy as well. Strong bodied player who won reserves B&F last year but hardly got any opportunities this year.
One would think McGuane would push them up and develop them rather than recruit others that take their spots potentially. But rather than develop they do tend to focus on premierships and buying who they need. Could save a lot of $$ by developing their own. They just take other clubs better junior players from neighbouring clubs to weaken the neighbours junior programs and competition within the area.
