All jokes aside, a bloke the calibre of Lin Jong missing the majority of the year is a massive blow. Is he onboard for 2026?

Need a ruckman as well ....

Watched that game today. APW were in a different League to DP. They missed a lot of set shots and could easily have won by 10-15 goals.
They were better drilled and a better side by a long way. They controlled 90 % of that game.
Hope the DP player who went down early and taken to hospital is ok.
Abers and APW should be a great game and yes I think APW are the real deal.

Would they be allowed back into the WRFL? Unlikely as the league seems to be doing OK without them with a very competitive finals series in progress.

Umpires were shocking again but that is expected it seems. They are clearly on the take as cannot possibly be so bad in my opinion.

They do need a ruckman but also a senior coach capable of coaching in this division..

Predictions for week 1 of finals.

Strathmore to turn the tables on the "don't tackle too hard" mob from last Satdy's praccy game.
Under 2 goal margin.

In the Sunday clash out at crazyburn, might be another result turnaround from the other praccy game, albiet West were required to win to cement a spot in the finals. West with a few key outs potentially, whilst some troops to return for the "no good Lions". Somehow they managed to play finals in their second season in the top flight. Their either better than 1st thought (edfl big footy brains trust ) or the comp is a tad overrated. Maybe some niave people who have an axe to grind against the Parkers had clouded judgement here!

they were 4-8 after 12 matches. Unbelievable

They’re apart of the final 4 in both seniors and reserves competitions. Under 18s I believe played a final too albeit in second division.

3 years up, improved every year. Now a semi final date with Aberfeldie.

I think it’s going to be tough. Played on 46/46 points and the 1 pointers have been around for a very long time and obviously not able to get to a GF now, and they aren’t going to get better next year. To replace them you need bring in Multi point players. Or move on the 5/6 pointers who didn’t make the impact expected.
I’m laughing on the inside at this result.
