while I think we have sympathy for mental health these days to go there on this one feels a touch shallow. The thing that irks me in the article is Keilor pulling the "mental health card" of volunteers due to being busted. I acknowledge the stress these individuals are going through and sincerely hope they are ok and get through it. The question I will ask is - Where is Keilor FC empathy and consideration of all the other clubs(Hillside/T.Lakes ect.) volunteers they've pillaged juniors over the years? Where have they shown consideration for the mental effect to these poor volunteers doing all the hard work only for KFC to come in and offer "better opportunities"?
Keilor - If you want to sit at the top of the tree and tell everyone you are there because you do things better, then be exposed for cheating, you can't pull the mental health card out because of the pile on.... Can you imagine D Park being caught and pulling that?
hard to disagree with anything written above and sometimes people impact there own mental health with their actions.
being an adult is to then own those actions and not deflect but to own it and work through it with professional mental health support.
that for me is when it is a mental health problem.
