It's more relevant here, pretty obviously, given the discussion is around ripping off parents to fund a senior side.

Who cares regos are part and parcel of every code! Go play soccer where you can pay $500 -$2000 a season from under 6’s onwards.

Cool - for starters, I pretty clearly wasn't complaining about people having to pay regos and what people pay to play soccer is irrelevant to what was being discussed.
For clarifications sake, it's not that people have to pay to regos, it's that parents are gouged to line the pockets of mercenaries at the senior level.
Remember, during the COVID years, there was plenty of chat about how desperate individual clubs were for junior footy to proceed so that they could cover their arses, which is crook.
Who cares? plenty of parents at a time when it is becoming increasingly difficult to get people play the game.

Plenty of clubs get it done for the 200-250 range but paying an extra 100-150 for being associated with success is a cost many are willing to pay
