Looks like O'Kearney delisted from St Kilda......Will he end up back at Keilor?
Stiff to get delisted was one of their strongest performers at VFL level and never got a chance to see if he was good enough for the next step.. would love to see him back at keilor but hopefully he sticks it out at vfl and pushes his case to get back on an AFL list. his young and talented enough to do so & theres plenty of time for local footy in the future if it doesn’t work out for him

Be surprised if he wasnt rookie listed by another club, had a good year at Sandy and was highly rated by most at Stkilda but they have too many similar midfielders.

If he doesnt you would hope that Mick does the right thing by the kid and tells him to have another crack at VFL and not offering huge coin to play at Keilor.

Surely not, I thought they only play for the love of the jumpers at the Panthers...

The reported amount from horse (if in fact correct) is cheaper than what others are being paid at opposition clubs so I guess your right and his showing love for the jumper. Lol

Strathmore very quite Stax after having a big crack last season. Players staying as per their 2yr contracts but gee they would need to lift a bit surely..

Mores still licking their wounds after quick exit from finals Turbo. Hopefully younger players come on. Not a lot of room points wise to recruit high profile players unless some others move on. Abers the obvious favourites at this stage, if they largely keep their team together. No points issue and strong juniors.

Hanson would be a good pickup for Pacco. Versatile player with plenty of football ahead of him at this level.
Obviously still pretty affluent down at Raeburn Reserve Turbo, considering the amount of money Pacco must fork out on player payments?

Gleeson, Knight, Barnard, Rae, Campbell, Staudt, May, Little all leaving from what I’ve heard. Some confirmed, some rumour.
McIntosh was talking retirement as was Firritto ?
Allan and O’Brien rumoured to be ins, both elite.
Hansen would a great EDFL player. He is only 29

If that’s the case with the outs it would leave a big hole in both quality and depth. Would certainly need to recruit well to challenge the top teams. Problem is that most of those you’ve named as leaving are 1 pointers. Recruits obtained from outside the club won’t be. Mores didn’t have a lot of leeway points wise at times last season.

Mores played their final with 36 points so points not a problem

How good would that be Route. Would kick them from the middle at some grounds and kick a goal from full back at Shore Res. I better get in early and get my membership.. Lol

Twitter says Watson is returning to Pacco - did he play enough games as a junior to qualify as a 1 pointer? Also how many points would Vezpremmi be? Does he get penalised 1 point for t'ferring from EDS?

Think you'll find Ferritto going around for S'more but McIntosh won't. Mores will be ok don't worry about that. Very good bunch of kids coming through and Grima not afraid to play them.

At EDS, it seems a few too many clearances going OUT instead of IN at this stage. Yes they have kept most of their top players but have lost depth with Prestia, Vocale, Ntalliatis et al.

'Rillas going along nicely. Johns keen to go around even if in the reserves due to work commitments. Whispers that an 8 goal grand final ruckman is keen to return to Clifton Park - lets hope for the comp this isn't the case!

I agree with this. Great young kid, regular senior player for 2 seasons and his best is ahead of him. Whoever gets him will be very happy.

Angus Graham couldn’t get a kick in the Bellarine FL this season, don’t think he is same player or fitness level he was few years back. In saying that I don’t think it will matter, Abers the team to beat for the next 5 years. Overflowing with talented young players, strong financial position and no points pressure.

Yes it’s pretty ironic with Aberfeldie. Just 12 months ago there was a lot of chatter on this forum that they were falling apart at the seams. Huge monetary issues, players departing en masse. Coach no good, etc, etc.
Since then they’ve gone from strength to strength, with every indication that their success will continue for the foreseeable future.

Just goes to show what a strong and capable administration, and obviously a lot of hard work can achieve. Not to say that’s not what a lot of clubs are doing. Just that Abers are doing it better at the moment.

Up on the river and hearing Pacco’s odds shortening by the day. Abers still favourites with Keilor and Marby next line of betting.
Watson a 1 pointer
Veszpremi a bargain pickup and low points. Play him on Ball or forward and let him destroy this competition.

Very dangerous forward line on paper anyway..

Another preseason & by March Turbo will have Pacco premiership favourite for the 3rd straight season.

Aberfeldie certainly the team to beat, however think if Marby Park continue the improvement that they have shown last couple of seasons, they could really challenge. They are certainly doing things very well with how they go about building for sustainability.
