Are Marby the real deal or a west coburg relegation favs on the back of that performance??
Have Keilor dropped significantly?? I did hear around the traps at Oak Park they Mick had to beg Jack Kennedy to play this year cause he was worried about their dept. is this true??

There's an Anthony Stevens / Wayne Carey type situation unfolding at Keilor at the minute and it was evident in yesterday's game that the whole playing group is effected. It looked like quiet a few players had something other than football on their mind for most of the game and it ended up being a training drill for the gorillas.
Abers were on from the first bounce but they are no where near a 100 pt better team than Keilor.
Mighty Mick needs to sort out the mess or their season could hit the skids big time.

A situation like that would be a disaster! If Galea didn't kick a goal, the playing group must be in a real bad way! I'm interested to view the vision on Monday and observe the body language.

A bit going on over the weekend

Do we have a new relegation favourite in West Coburg? They'd be shattered with that result and to concede 12 first quarter goals simply isn't good enough. I'd be interested to know whats happened there as i thought they had a real dip last year. Digby is a good coach so he wont be happy with that effort. Did hear that he went off his rocker at half time. The round 6 clash v Craigieburn looks huge!

Abers have shown that they are still a serious contender, again! Few would have seen that result coming. The rumour mill is certainly swirling with the goings on at Keilor. If that all came to light during the week it may explain the difference in performance from Rounds 1 to 2

Was impressive seeing a few of the young kids have an influence on the game.
Only question mark would be the fwd line. Even though they scored pretty freely they still lack forward options. An injury to Reimers or Kefford could be a major issue.
Time will tell further in to the season.

They probably have good dept they just can't play it. That's what happens when you go out and buy top end talent. It means your bottom 6 aren't up to senior footy ATM. If you look at their points they are using 20 points on 4 players both rounds that's almost half your points gone. Which leads to playing 1 pointers that aren't up to it. Strathmore need to be wiser with their recruiting.
They are lucky that tighe and grima didn't play Saturday cause it would be 30 points on 6 players

40 player points on Saturday for Mores, and 39 the week before. That's hardly a points problem. Pacco 48, Marby 47, AVH 47, Douttas 44. Grima not a points issue either, as he is out for season with a knee.

Perhaps you should do a modicum of research before posting.

Hey my old mate bang. Popped into the local for a 2 pots and heard some interesting news. Its bigger than just the 1 player mate as I think the coach might have been aware of the issue but has stood by his captain. Big issues down in the village and it's spreading like wild flowers. Believe a very good player is tal
talking to a neighbouring club in div1 about a possible move and definitely won't be playing for Keilor this Friday.. Their gun FF also not happy about what's going on and might be doubtful this week. His not directly involved though..

They couldn't control a few situations last seasons and now more issues this season. Where will it stop..

Could Strathmore get them this week in a low scoring game. Not going to be a pretty game to watch..

a bit odd wasn't it. Anyway the kids loved it, they ran on the ground and started kicking the footy during the delay.

Come on Turbo , i know of your dislike of Keilor but your posts are usually reasonably accurate or at least with some sort of humour. This Dean Galea stuff is made up and utter crap. Please don't fall for this . One Bang from 50 is enough.

Mcguanne to miss a couple for striking. Uncle Mick wouldn't be happy with that.

They played with 40 points on the weekend so 8 to play with still. Nath Grima out for the season so maybe they have the room long term as well.
Fitting under the cap would be more dubious I would have thought!

Ed couldn't get himself to play at Greenvale and Nick good player would be handy at strathmore. Grima out would free up money and points
