It's the good thing about Edfl premier, is that other clubs will take up the challenge to try and beat Abers next season. It will require smart recruiting and getting the right players you need. Plus an injury free year to your top players/leaders.
Bring it on we all say!! But agree Abers clearly the early favourite.
I see Deer Park are just getting better, so that competition is in trouble again.
2016 Clubs that cannot compete and are playing to avoid Relegation - West Coburg, A/Heights, APW, Marby Park, Doutta's
2016 Clubs "hoping they can scrape into the 4", No hope of winning the Flag - Strathmore, Pacco
2016 Clubs who think they are a chance to cause an upset if they can make the GF - Keilor, Greenvale
2016 - The Club that Spends the most, has a far superior list and will win the GF unless there is a huge upset
Good luck to you all, will pose the question - the 5 teams I listed above, what is the incentive for their volunteers to bust their bums to raise absorbent amount of money to pay their players who will gladly take it and shop themselves around next year for a better offer? This is NOT what suburban footy is meant to be my friends

At this point we don't know who is coming and going from clubs, outside of the Caruso's - nothing much has been confirmed.
There's a bit of noise that Abers may lose a few which will bring them back to the pack a touch but as the current premiers they deservingly do go into next season as favourites.

Couldn't agree with you more! Unfortunately all about the money now and that is not good for local football, especially when clubs rely on unpaid volunteers.

As disappointing as it is, good chance for the club to regenerate and get some new blood into the club and stop relying on 2 blokes. Also proves loyalty is a thing of the past! That's great for local football!
