Hello all and welcome back to another exciting year for potential AFL draftees, this thread will be dedicated to all things draft in 2021 and beyond. Be on the lookout for player notes, rankings and a rolling mock draft which have become a staple and as always I’m happy to answer any draft questions you may have.

He's 192cm which is 3rd tall height at best (he's shorter than Bont and Macrae). And what exactly is the problem with their defensive set up? Have played WC and Brisbane, 2 sides with big forward lines and handled them fine didn't they?

worst ratio in the league for scores against per inside 50. They just give up the least atm.

That's probably more of a byproduct of the way we set up.
We play a high press so tend to monopolize inside 50s but when teams get through our press they have an open forward line and defenders pressed up so plenty of space or the back.
That said it's a head scratcher why we didn't give Raak a rookie b contract. Can only think it was financial reasons which is disappointing.

Him or MacPherson would've made more sense than Scott.
Think it was Scott or Preston in the end and most on the Bulldogs board were hoping we'd go Preston. Definitely more if a need.
Can understand us skipping MacPherson because we have a lot of mids and small defenders but Raak wouldn't have even cost us a list spot.

Do you currently have any Cat B rookies?

Matthew Nicks said in his presser Cooper Murley badly rolled his ankle when training with the Crows during the week as part of the AFL Academy placement, they were waiting on the assessment, sounded like it could be a bad one so it will be interesting to see if he misses weeks or longer.

That's disappointing, eDPS Is going to be in shambles when Draper still doesn't get in

Sorry eDPS (maybe it is just the reviewer in me coming to the fore) but would just point out that "midfielder" is spelt incorrectly for all midfielders apart from Nick Daicos and Jason Horne; this is also true in your Power Rankings sheet.
Glad to see your looking at my rankings that closely 😂 cheers for that

Down here in Hobart at the Ranges v Devils match. Tassie destroying Ranges at the moment. Banks racking them up at half-back. Very good decision maker, user of the ball and interceptor. Davis a tough bugger - very competitive. First time I’ve seen Sonsie live - not particularly impressed at the moment, but only been a half! Seems very outside and most of his disposals have been cheapies out the back. Needs to improve defensive work and inside game.
