How do people rate Luke English? Had some incredible games playing for the Colts and won the Jack Clarke Medal (WAFL coaches award) by 22 points over second place after a stellar season.

He is my biggest draft bolter at this stage and I can even see him rising to a top 10 prospect if his form continues.

Not being in WA makes it hard for me to watch those WA guys, hopefully plays in the champs so I can get a look

I’m not knocking Lukosius but his SANFL senior sample size is about as small as you can get without actually playing.

One (very important) game, where he kicked 4 goals. I would understand your argument better if he’d played 4 - 6 games but accept he never got that opportunity.

Season 2018 will provide 80-90% of the performances which determine where these players all go in the draft.

Yes Lukosius only played one League game last year. He did also play 6 games at reserves level and kicked 4 goals on three occasions and 2.5 out of 5.9 on another. All this in a crap team that did not make the finals. This left Lukosius 15th on the leading goalkicking list with 15 goals from 6 games. and note that the winner only kicked 29. Reserves is a bloody tough level to play as a forward.

No Scott Carlin in your top 50, got along to quite a few Rebels games in 2017 and thought he along with Tylar Watts, Tom Berry and Jed Hill are all really good prospects for the 2018 Draft?

Berry and Watts are my favourites from last year. Hard to separate Lloyd and Hill after that I’m hoping both get to showcase more in the middle after playing mostly on flanks last year. Carlin mostly played down back last year and I don’t feel he is a top prospect playing that role so hopefully he can show more in the middle this year if he gets a chance.

I think TAC cup put a tweet out they would publish some results this week.

Probably just a top 10 for each test.

Would be good to see some detail published but if it is, people need to understand there might be some real fast kids, or some great endurance runners, but unlike the Combines this isn’t the AFL club “cherry picked” most likely draftees.

Heaps of good runners (speed/endurance) make TAC lists because they’re also good to very good footballers. Most won’t get a combine invite, let alone get drafted, because they’re aren’t excellent/elite players.

Plenty of kids didn’t test either and they won’t show who didn’t test so your not getting the full story anyway.

The kids will go in with set goals for each test I’m sure many don’t have a top 10 placing on their mind, just to get the results that are asked of them

Growth spurts changes things a lot.
Helps that he was a good prospect to begin with, has some midfield craft so he won’t be played in he middle just to get a comparison with those Cripps and Bontempelli types

Is Fletcher from the Stingrays on your radar last I heard was that he was rated as one of dandenong's best for this year certainly up there with williams and smith?

Yep Sam Fletcher is just outside my top 50, im aware of his talent although most of the games ive seen of him have been some of his quieter games playing down back. I fully expect him to play more midfield time this year.
