His game against Eastern wasn’t so impressive but he is certainly one of the better midfielders in this draft and he just oozes leadership. Exactly the type my club Essendon needs but is destined for the hawks (shakes fist)

FWIW - I really rate Ramsay from Calder as well, his teammate Sutton has a lot of X-Factor too.. Sutton next year though, should be touted highly.

A lot of players played as expected today, Bergman was always going to have his quietest game for the year after I put him in my top 30 :p

Byrnes and Mott look like good value inside mids in the late 2nd round onwards if their finals to this point is anything to go by
Byrnes is really gaining some momentum, he's had a stellar month. Lots to like about him, only issue is he can absolutely **** a kick or two. Would you say 30-50 mark of draft?

Yep spot on his kicking has been the main issue but does everything else so well and looks to have some decent speed out of stoppages which helps, I’ve had him in the 25-45 range all year and think that’s about right as he shares some similarities to James Rowbottom in his draft year.

I really don’t like where Brisbane’s first two picks fall. Or more to the point, all the players I really like are gone by our first pick.

We’re desperate for a small defender with pace, so I feel Trent Bianco is more of a need than Elijah Taylor.

And Conole is banging on about recruiting more mids, and Cooper Stephens fits our modus operandi of drafting an injured player who slides in the draft.

Miles Bergman at our third pick I’m very happy with.

You better starting putting Keidean Coleman in at our fourth pick. I feel Will Martyn is probably behind both Coleman and Noah Cumberland on the clubs radar.

Yeah safe to say those picks are tough to get right in that range

Coleman only got a state invite with Martyn and Cumberland getting national says to me most other clubs rate those two higher even though Brisbane might not, all depends on who bids and I wouldn’t be suprised if you passed on a bid for Martyn as you have good depth for his type.

I'd be really happy with Robertson and Schoenberg eDPS

Just my own opinion but if guys like Stephens, Mead and Maginness are available I'd rather go with a midfielder their than Josh Worrell.
Mead and Maginness will get bidded earlier in the real thing imo I just can’t be bothered doing bids for the rolling mock.

Think Worrell could be anything and the type I think would flourish under your system, Stephens in the mix but hard for me to put him top 25.

I’ve spent the last couple of nights catching up on old footage and focusing in on players invited to the national combine especially the interstate players. Still plenty more footage to go over to really knuckle down my rankings especially for those players that haven’t played for awhile.

Dylan Williams is sliding in a lot of rankings but he will remain top 10 for me no matter what. Has the makings of a De Goey/Stringer/Stephenson type with his knack around goals and confidence a real highlight. A big game performer and matchwinner who doesn’t need 20+ touches or even a huge bag of goals to have an impact.

They are still on the AFL site , the thing I noticed was the Allies has very few goal kickers over the course of the Championships Rosa and Gore lead them with 5 though I thought Ellem had a bit of presence about him. Delahunty would have kicked more but was forced to play back and in the ruck

My top 30 will be getting a bit of a shake up on Sunday, it will now become a top 40 with some big movers as I’ve gone over footage and mulled over certain players this week. Also want to get in ahead of Cal Twomey who I think will be doing something similar with a certain player going inside the top 5.

How far has this player moved up?

Unsure yet as the games on this weekend may force my hand the other way but this player will come into my top 10 for the first time regardless, feel plenty may have dismissed him as a top prospect and I will give my reasons as to why when I put it up on Sunday

Some certain people have had a certain player around that mark most of the year ;)

Very good call on Robertson being pushed up that high, I just watched the reply of country vs wa yesterday and besides his kicking being a bit iffy on occasions he is so well rounded . Leadership and want to impact every contest is second to none .

Weightman @ 15?....Aint gonna happen for a small forward....As good as he is.

Pickett's lack of height will also count against him going so early....Great pace though.

Bergman doesn't strike me as Top 30 either....He has something though.
