4* in your top 20.

Hardly the diabolical compromised draft it's been labelled if it plays out that way.

A lot to change however.

I think North would love one of DGB, Thilthorp or Baldwin win one of our two picks.

The mid we take will be the interesting selection, as I don't think the values there quite yet in the top 7-8 selections for mids in comparison to most drafts.

Could see us trading out to the teens for some fair value this year to teams trying to jump NGA selections.

FFS pick 19 man. The first round has 19 picks. :p

I can see the Lions going a KPF at our first pick. We desperately need an upgrade in our tall forward department.

But O’Driscoll certainly is a Lions type pick, and possibly just about completes our future midfield.

So either Logan or O’Driscoll works for us.

Really love Geelongs “draft haul” here. It’s about perfect for them.

With the SANFL back next weekend be on the lookout on the following players pushing for senior selection

Glenelg
Kaine Baldwin
Luke Edwards

Central
Corey Durdin

West Adelaide
Riley Thilthorpe

South Adelaide
Zac Dumesny

Woodville
Lachlan Jones

Really hoping to see Baldwin selected in the seniors. I haven't seen enough of him.

You don't believe Macrae will be picked in the first round? albeit in your round 2 rolling mock draft. Also where is the pick 19. First round has 19 picks
I need to see more of his inside game for me to have him as a clear first rounder.

Yeah I know but it was easier to cut it off at 18 and annoy briztoon :p

Why would we use pick one on a player we can get with later picks?
I’m not factoring bids in this early stage, good academy players being taken closest to their worth for now

Fair enough. Keen to see how it plays out when you factor them in. Out of interest who would you have the Dogs taking in that case, if we had pick 1?

Thilthorpe or DBG would be my tips if they did have it

And what later picks would those be?

all of 2020 and probably nearly all of 2021's picks?

Thilthorpe would be an interesting choice for us. For the first time in my life we're actually fairly stocked up forward, but a ruck/forward would be handy. How is he in the ruck? Is he a genuine ruck/forward or more of a forward who can pinch hit?

I prefer him as a ruck personally, I also think English would make a really good CHB going off some form he showed behind the ball in his draft year so that may also be an option to take.

If we ended up with Thilthorpe and Jamarra, Naughton could end up back down back. Not that it's going to happen, but it'd be interesting.

Doesnt Brisbane have two first round picks? Port Adelaide and It’s own ?

Posting here because I didnt want to keep filling KM's page with questions about one player :)
Yeah I feel the same, I mean [Walker] isn’t a bad size, knows how to win the footy and is usually composed but yeah he isn’t a fast rebounder and his skills are only solid, not a big intercept marker and hasn’t shown a lot in one on ones.
Do you think he is draftable based on what you have seen? I think maybe the difference is because Tassie is small, I get excited if Tassie has a draftable player, not necessarily a player that is going to be elite at AFL. I think Collins has way more potential, but Walker was the better of the two last year overall.

Yeah certainly draftable. I’d say in showing draftable traits Collins had the better year. Walker plays an easier role than Collins which allows him to potentially stand out more. Collins doesn’t have as many queries with me with his consistency with skills and decision making the main points of concern.

Hey DPS, what can you tell me about Nicholas Cox? Has he got a strongest position in your eyes? How flexible is he? Can he play ruck?
This was my little summary of him

Nikolas Cox (AH)
199cm 82kg
Key Defender
DR: 5-20

Strengths

Overhead marking
Versatility
Football smarts
Endurjace
Upside
Clean hands
Dual sided

Queries
Consistency
Production
  • There isnt a lot of weaknesses to Cox and going of his practise match he was in for a big year, went head to head with Ugle-Hagan and competed really well while also proving rebound, I minor nitpick would be that he can bite of more than he can chew at times

He might be able to ruck I haven’t seen him play there much if at all, he has great skills and smarts so would do well around the ground, has a strong leap aswell.

He is very flexible able to play forward, back and even on a wing. At the moment down back is his best spot for me as he can rebound really well with his athleticism and skills and I find that’s where he would have the most impact.
