Hey DPS, what can you tell me about Nicholas Cox? Has he got a strongest position in your eyes? How flexible is he? Can he play ruck?

Seen a bit of Cox with school footy. I think he's best suited as an intercepting defender. Reads the play really well, good lateral movement and beautiful hands overseas and nice skills. Don't think he's ever played ruck and was fairly skinny last year so don't know if he'd ever really have the bulk to be a ruck.

Adelaide are a moral for the spoon you would think.

They have a history of bidding on academy players.

1. Will be interesting to see if they bid on JUH.
2. If they take the local SA product and KPP in Thilthorp at #1/#2.
3. Take the best midfielder in lieu of the SA product.

Can’t see him going top 30 now. Not playing any footy in 2 years plus multiple knee injuries as a junior is never a good sign.

I’ve only seen highlights and haven’t really been able to judge him very well. Such a pity for him and clubs looking for a kpp. Maybe a club with multiple second rounders and list spots to burn. Like if you’re Adelaide wtf have you got to lose?!

I think about the same runs but you would rather those runs be in your draft year and able to blitz a combine helps. Baldwin still has some very strong form in his 15s and 16s. Depending if list sizes are cut I think a club still might take him with the thoughts of getting an extra pick like with Lachlan Johnson last year

Fresh form helps and being healthy right before the draft is a big tick, look what it did for Georgiades last year. I can still see Adelaide taking him with the amount of picks they’ll most likely have.

I think that crosses Baldwin off the crows wish list. Too high risk we can’t afford. Maybe the tassie forward Callum ? He looks a bit special. Would loved Baldwin but hey thilorpe now become a necessity. Happy take him or Holland at pick one. Hopefully we have pic 1 and 2 take both. With fog could be a pretty lethal forward line throw in McAsey it’s looking good for the future happy with that but still would have loved Baldwin. Maybe our 3rd or 4 th rounder still may take him wat do we think ?

He would have been playing this weekend, he was actually the player I was most excited to see play this weekend.

Baldwin's injury is going to have huge impact on the draft (naturally), we might see someone like Callow or McDonald go much earlier than expected out of necessity for a club in the second half of the top 10.

Baldwin could end up a bargain as a late/ rookie pick this year
