You should see an NBA version when there can be up to 4 or 5 games played difference between teams on any given day.

Yeah he is an exciting talent, hopefully he can show it consistently this year.
 
I’ve seen something of him before but not that much vision. Basically exactly what I thought. Don’t know whether he will make it but that speed is something you just can’t train. Can break away from opponents. Perfect nga, if he comes good he could be very good.

That’s what I was afraid of haha

I mean it’s good for people to get a look at him as it is hard to find stuff on him but yeah cats out of the bag. It’s always good to see others putting in the time to find and watch footage instead of doing no research and getting a link from someone who did the work for them haha

I don't see any reason at all that people should be withholding links? Fair enough if you don't want to share your opinions and breakdown of footage, but the actual sharing of the footage itself should be encouraged, if anything. At least then, people can form their own opinions on players instead of parroting what they read from strangers on internet forums

Yeah it’s not exactly the sharing of the footage but how it’s shared. It might come across as selfish but I’ve done a lot of work to find footage for myself and spend time watching a lot of vision just to get those thoughts and then other draft watchers just get given that type of footage and they barely had to do anything to get an opinion.

Again it was inevitable anyway as they would get footage eventually when stuff like champs comes up, now I’m not one of the select few on hear that’s actually seen him haha.

I mean, fair enough if you don't want it on your particular thread, I can understand that. Perhaps it's better if there was a dedicated thread for sharing footage.

The one thing that shits me the most about the AFL is how inaccessible things can be, from advanced stats, to draftee videos, or even just getting to watch training if you support an interstate team. For those not based in Victoria, you are very limited in what you can actually watch, so having people openly share anything they find is valuable to people like me who never get to watch any of these kids live. Would be nice if the AFL hosted game footage somewhere so it didn't have to be dug for in the first place, but I digress

It’s poor and I’m sure Cal Twomey and the likes have advocated for better access to footage and all that but the AFL has been very stingy on it all.

Things are getting better though especially out of SA for footage, WA remains the absolute worst though and I’m sure it wouldn’t be that hard for them to get at least something up from the Colts that isn’t just the Grand Final.

For half of us this isnt our job, for guys like you it is a job so i can understand why you try to keep any advantage you can, or else your boss and other professionals might take their lead from amateurs.

lol watching the same game as me. Was just googling him. Great size. Any idea on his testing. Draper for 2021 looks good.

my fav moment was Phillips putting that kid on his ass.

Schofield is disappointing. Looks very skilled out there but as a 16yr old in Perth was meant to be near senior selection and 2 years later he’s in under 18’s and not really standing out

who was the south’s kid that flew across the pack in Qtr 1? Think it was at half back if I remember
