If I were Brisbane, I would genuinely offer our two 2020 first round picks for Sydney’s future 2021 first round pick and current 2020 third round pick on draft night.

And then look to trade back in to the second round for a specific player.

That is horrendous for Swans as other posters have pointed out.

that would be horrendously dumb on Sydney’s behalf

they would be swapping their 2021 draft pick which could be very high for 2 draft picks that will be eaten up by their nga matches.

they’re going to have papley most likely ask for a trade and quite possibly George hewett who’s ooc could ask as well.
The trade would done on draft night, AFTER the bid has come for Braeden Campbell, and probably right before the first of the two picks, so the picks aren’t effected at all.

Yeah, there’s a chance Gulden gets bid on between the two picks, unless they are very close.

That’s could backfire horrendously. Sydney with all their players back in 21, plus another year into their young players they could easily make finals.
You mean like Port this year.

It’s only good for Brisbane. ;)

EFA...

But makes no sense any you dice it.

Swans list, likely pick position, smaller list sizes and actually having exposed form next year would much, much rather keep our first.

Also I quoted the North poster in my initial response to this discussion, where he first originally suggested Sydney trade their 2021 first round pick.

It wasn’t my idea to begin with.

State coach Tony Bamford : “He’s a very good modern-day rebound defender who can also get it done one-on-one either deep or high,” Torrens University SA U18 Coach Tony Bamford said. “Lachlan has a penetrating, 60m kick and attacks like your Heath Shaw (GWS) and Darcy Byrne-Jones (Power) type defender. He is as tough as they come – he’ll develop well physically and has elite speed coming off half-back.’’

Hmmm, sounds exactly the skills that GWS will be looking for to replace Zac Williams if he leaves for free agency. What pick do you reckon gets us to a point where Port won't match?

Usually on our own boards. I like variety.

Force of habit to post here at this time due to carnival.

My bad.
Your not the one that floated it though where you?

does anyone know where
they think Jackson callow will go in draft draft range. The big forward from wa. Like the look of him

You sure you're not confused with Big WA Forward Logan McDonald because Tasmania is a fair stretch away from WA?

eDPS.

At this stage, does Max Heath look like being next year's pencil neck prospect?
Not sure what you mean by that haha

He is a strong chance to be drafted this year

OH!

I could've sworn he was 2021.

Who's the 2021 pencil neck?

This might interest you eDPS

Son of a gun;)

Only needed to play another 86 games in the tricolours and we'd have had 1st dibs...

His numbers have been amazing, hoping to see him hit the scoreboard more and be more damaging by foot. A fantastic player by hand but will need to lift the other side of his game to be seen as a top end prospect this year.
