He will fill out and considering his current frame his man-on-man work isn’t too bad.How good is DGB man-on-man? Everything I've read about him suggests his main strength is intercepting, and frankly that's not what we need out of a KPD.
Especially given he's only 78kg.....
I’ve had him there abouts, I think he is a good fit for Carlton as he is a different type of player to what they have already. Could be a dynamic half forward or a Sicily type defender.Henry in the Top 10! What's got him there?
Do you agree with the sentiment that Max Heath is a top 15 (or was it 20 that Rendell said) player at this stage? They might look towards him in that caseCats are in need of a ruck, might be a bit early but started the year strong and is a great athlete. May not have him there next week as they may look at local lad Henry Walsh with a later pick.

Definitely like his utility, interested to see where he eventually lands come draft nightI’ve had him there abouts, I think he is a good fit for Carlton as he is a different type of player to what they have already. Could be a dynamic half forward or a Sicily type defender.
I can’t base it off one game, very hard to go early like that and someone like Rendell would have access to pre-season footage to go over his game fully unlike myself who only had the one viewing to go off, very impressive though I think he might surprise as a top 30 pick.Do you agree with the sentiment that Max Heath is a top 15 (or was it 20 that Rendell said) player at this stage? Personally agree that Walsh or someone similar at a later pick will be the way to go, or trade for one
Hard to say, Westerns height makes him an odd one and will be lumped with Gulden as a player that has a great skill set but height will see them slip. Western deserves to be bid somewhere in the 25-45 range depending on club needs.Where do you see the bid coming in for Freo NGA Joel Western Ed?
I genuinely fell off my couch.

Did you finally give in, or these were your genuine selections.
Makes me think of Caleb Daniel. Neither are as short as him, but Daniel should rightfully have been a top 5 prospect if he was taller - not many juniors players with skill and game sense like that. Ended up going in the mid 40s. Can see Western and Gulden both going in that 35-45 range tbh, when both could have been 1st roundersHard to say, Westerns height makes him an odd one and will be lumped with Gulden as a player that has a great skill set but height will see them slip. Thought of continuing the meme but went genuine this time around hahaI genuinely fell off my couch.

The wafl are running a campaign - only $4.90 a week for full access to The West instead of $7. Something over nothing!Think it’s a dollar a day so watch it on the day and then it’s really only a dollar a week all up.
I’ll take what I can get, I’d happily pay to get footage from WA.
My first reaction is that I hope we have Ford billeted at Hodgey’s place for his first year.We got Will Phillips so I'm happy hehehe
Western jets 1 2 punchMy first reaction is that I hope we have Ford billeted at Hodgey’s place for his first year.
Can you imagine Rayner and Ford rotating between the midfield and forward line.
Yup. Had that on my mind the whole time.Western jets 1 2 punch
Yeah I think key forward is the biggest hole but those are hard to come by that late with the likes of Thilthorpe and McDonald looking to be out of reach. Baldwin would realistically be around the mark but has some risk attached and pies injury woes are bad enough as is, Callow to early perhaps, Neale could become a key forward but need to see more of him. That would be typical of collingwood to go this angle. A key defender rather than a forward. We do have Keane as key defender. But I suppose other than that, we have no other young key defenders. Now that Will kelly is going forward. Nathan Murphy KPD height I don't think. Unless of course, we can find a key forward after the 1st round? If we have any picks left. And who knows how many picks the AFL will allow this year with potential list cuts.
You think Reef will slip down that far? Not that I mind, less we have to pay..

Next year also has some good tall forwards but they might also be hard to grab if you need to match a bid for Daicos early.
McInness is a tough one to find a spot for, wouldn’t surprise me if Dodoro bids (as he should tbh). If Rendell is saying he could get a bid in the 20-30 range I’m inclined to believe him at this stage until some Vic metro footy can be played Later on.

The West paper offers a stream with a subscription I believe, if you're lucky someone might be able to stream it (although risky)Where can I watch this?
Neale is the type of ruck that would go for a run on the wing and take a bounce hahaNeale? Just how good would he be compared to other options this year and other years. Jackson, English etc.
Ruck has been a strong discussion on our board ... what methods are employed to try and judge he quality of rucks year to year. Is it worth pull the trigger on this kid or better to wait... How good is he compare to the betters ones in system.. English looked quite good at the champs for ex. I remember him going for a bounce with the ball.
My pov is I like having at least one young drafted option, apparently we may have been linked to an ex basketball ..does that change our mindset.
Id say after near a decade without a good ruck mist would just be happy to have a very good option on our list.
