Adelaide will bid for JUH at 1. Why wouldn't they? He's clearly the best talent. If WB don't match you get the best player, if they do, you have cleared WB hand for the year. It also takes a little pressure off the player they select first. Maybe WB will come to a deal with Ade to ensure they don't bid. Every selection he slides is a massive bonus for WB.

Mate, the intense discussion I’m involved in, is what’s a fair trade offer for the Bulldogs first round pick. The JUH bid part of that discussion, I haven’t actually weighed in on, and it’s not central to the discussion.

I’ve largely been a bystander in the Thilthorpe discussion, but have said I’d go a tall myself, and replied to one poster who asked me directly, and I’ve maybe commented on the JUH bid itself once or twice, and I’m hardly fueling that discussion which was going on before I jumped in last Tuesday.

DGB, Thilthorpe, Phillips would all be in that conversation as well, reckon Hawks and North are in similar boats with that first pick, North have the luxury of (probably) another top 10 pick though

If both he and Phillips were available, it would be a tough decision or if Thilthorpe slides to us he could also be an option, we have pick 3 now thanx to Freo and their points defecit, but who knows what pick we will end with?

Word is he has a serious bad stuffed back with fractures or what ever the medical term was. A few teams recruiters think probably a late 20's pick if it doesn't heal or get much better. But that newchurch and Campbell are rising in clubs eyes with elite skills to pick apart teams

He looks like a an absolute game breaking jet with that kick. Swans have a future stud i think and the Hawks would bid a top 2/4 pick on him as they are big fans of him.

Hopefully his back has improved. But it would be the collingwood way lol another injury player.

Both are around that range for me and would be a good pairing to get the Perth lads down.

Like I said, I’m not really part of that debate, other than I mentioned Twomey has given a reason why he shouldn’t be bid on at pick 1 on his podcast.
