As a rule of thumb, he is correct, Edwards doesn’t get the umpires votes.


Goodwin will get the most votes by a crow’s player.

I think that since Tyson was "outed" last year as a sneaky good player, he'll continue to poll appropriately based on form now.

But I agree, Goodwin should poll the most - although watch out for McLeod

With Macca playing the role that he does now.
He tends to get noticed a lot...he polled well last year, he'll poll even better this year.
If you're at the game you can notice it even more, his attacking prowess from defence is elite, probably the best in the comp hence the All Australian flank.

The umpires do notice Mcleod running 50metres from half back then setting up a goal in our forward 50 with his precision passing and elite decision making.

He could poll very well, I won't be suprised he polls around 20 votes.

Mcleod, when he got the ball he carried it, for every posession they each got Macca actually held on to the ball two or three times as long which is the kind of thing the umpires notice

First foot injury only cost him 2 games. Subsequent infection cost him another two, but one of those was a final (for which no Brownlow votes are taken).

He played 19 out of 22 games. If you think he did well in those games, he would still be worth a shot.

I think Edwards has been more solid and dependable this year than last so I could not turn the odds this morning for a Brownlow.
I get a $155 return on 5 bucks if
If the Same amount of votes win it this year as last and he is a big chance.

Disagree with that. some games one of them will get 3 and the other will get 1 or 2! they have both been pretty consistent this year! how good would a Goodwin and Edwards Tie be!?! Won't happen, but that'd be the best. Macca may have missed too many games and robbed himself of votes to have any chance!

Mc Leod will quite possibly be top 5 of the Brownlow 2/3rds of the way thru and will finish higher than Edwards
