I’ll admit it, I was wrong. The Darcy Cameron selection for this game was a great move, allowed Cox to be the big man up forward and let us have a competent ruckman up against Nic Nat. We got on top when Cameron was ruck, nearly lost it with Grundy in the middle

Except when Grundy was in the centre clearance when it was back to 1 point and won it not once, not twice, but three times to prevent them getting the clearance.

Way to start classy in this post and then return to your standard form within fifteen words. You're truly something special

Good win. When you move the ball in quickly you are certainly a top 4 team and that's the way to beat us like Richmond, the Bulldogs and Norf (even though we beat them). Cox was pretty good in occupying his man and competed well at one point we felt what Richmond felt in 2018. Checkers fought back after Gov was beating him Grundy got beaten by Nic Nat but did well in the fourth quarter. Roughy looked a bit suspect at times but Cripps performed well. Moore was pretty average and didn't have a lot of impact considering Darling took him up the ground. Daicos looked compsed with ball in hand and Cameron was pretty good. Adams was probably your best mid considering Pendlebury wasn't sighted much. It's more impressive that everyone wrote you off and you upsetted us, reminds me of the 2018 prelim against Richmond when they finished top of the table and cruised past Hawthorn with ease only for you to beat them. All without Sidebottom who probably would've got hard tagged and Howe. Madgen is really composed with ball in hand.

Even if we get the win against you either Geelong or Brisbane will knock us out but you match up better against them then we do despite what the ladder says.

In the end a great win considering.

For me while we played the game at a better pace and moved the ball better, I don't think we were at our best as a team, but more hyper efficient and had moments of individual brilliance.
