The umpire should only be concerned about what a player does after the tackle is laid, if they didn't have "prior opportunity" to dispose of the ball before being tackled.

If this were the case, Judd and Ablett would be giving away 10 free kicks a game. It was a bad call.

This will probably sound like a really stupid thing to post but the first goal in the last quarter is incredibly important.

So far this game the momentum has swung at the start of each quarter. If we allow Adelaide one or two early ones the game is right back on and we will be in serious trouble.

If we can get a quick one though it will be 26 points and the Crows must be deflated somewhat.

In all my time watching Collingwood I reckon I've seen goals like that kicked against us in the last few seconds of a quarter about 50 times. I've hardly ever seen us get them! Go Daisy!
