Just taking a wild guess, because I really have no idea...

Julian Kirzner.

But I really have no idea how many games he played for North or even if he played in the 1993 Night Series.

Nope,none of those two.

You would have to really stretch the ol memory bank for this guy:rolleyes:

Going by your question in bold, would I be on the right track in saying his name begins or contains 'mark' in it?

Did he actually play a senior game at the Dogs?

He was the first name that came to mind, but I didn't think he cracked it for a game.

Im actually second guessing if we first saw him in 93, or 94. And I actually think you might be right in that he failed to register a game with the Dogs. The only other player I could think of was Lewfatt, although Im not sure if anyone else picked him up.

Nah, don't think Lewfatt did play with anyone else.

Also, I think Stevo played in the 93 Night GF.

Nobby, some ongoing adjudication please, mate... ;) Are we getting warmer??

It wasn't Adrian "Georgie" Burns was it?

Correct:thumbsu: :D

AB > 1990-91 ESS 11 games > St Kilda 1994 -4 games

Its weird,played for EFC 90'-91'
.........and no mention of him on the list for 92'93' and then plays 4 games for the Saints in 1994:confused:

must have been on StKilda's list for 2 years and then got a game in his third year...I can't even remember his face:)

Someone give us the Burns story:)

EFC player from the 30's

1.I have the same surname as a current EFC young gun.

2. I played 33 games at----------- and then moved to Essendon and played less than half a dozen games for the Dons.

Carl Watson. He came from Richmond.

(Yes. I looked him up.)

PS Adrian Burns was on Essendon's list in 1992. And on StKilda's list in 1993, but didn't crack it for a game.

No,its not Carl...and I rekon u would have no choice but too look this guy up:D

Good guess though:thumbsu:

From the report below,(taken from a well known Bomber book) in which year is this EFC Grand Final played....

Choose from all 16:)

1897,1901,1911,1912,1923,1924,1942,1946,1949,1950,1962,1965,1984,1985,1993 or 2000?

The Dons were being beaten around the packs and although they had the wind, they were powerless to do anything about the paralysing onslaught.

It was probably the most sensational display of confident and aggressive football ever seen in a finals match.

There had never been a grand final performance like it.

the Dons led by ____ points at 3qtr time and it was no wonder supporters gave them a standing ovation.

I know that Burnsy was playing at Kyneton (Bendigo FL) at some stage in 1997. Definitely started there but I don't recall him finishing there.
After that... no idea.
If you can't remember what he looked like, just think of number 40? and a little duck tail mullet.
