EFC Player 1970-2006

I played more than 20 games for the Dons

I was recruited from Tiger land

I ended up playing in the west and then in Melbourne

I ended up the same as Darren Jarman in one sense

From Claremont Tigers....

Went to freo then hawthorn

Todd Woodbridge

Ridley Scott..Gladiator director

I think that's the different one. Looks like it is published by the Herald-Sun.

I'm pretty sure the one Nobby is using is "Flying Higher," which was published by the club.
Do you know how long it takes to deliver? thanks for the help.

The little Herald Sun AFL book is one of the books i use.Its got every player ever played for the EFC with a little blurb about the player included with most names. You can get em from book stores and newsagents as well.

The Flying Higher book last came out in 96' so it would be hard to get a copy now..except maybe ebay book section?.

This new one thats coming out:confused: ...i've only seen a breif mention of it in the Bomber magzine year book in Dec. Not much word since about it. The ad said to reserve a copy on the Bomberland site, but I can't locate it anywhere..??

Essendon player from the 90s and 00's

After I played at EFC I then went to one of Ron's old clubs

A clue can be found to my surname by thinking of Angelina Jolie and the band Faith No More

I have a connection to Jezza in a way

OK. How about this.

It's not Ken, Simon or Wally
And neither is it Harvey, Johnson or Thompson.

But it's someone from the 1980 to 2007 era, who shared a name with all of them.
So let the game begin.

A really wild guess Dean Wallis:confused:

I reackon your on the money with this one

Ken Fraser
Mark Thompson
Mark Harvey
Mark Johnston

clue with the extra umpire, not sure were the Simon and Wally part comes in:confused:
(I also used them because people would be thinking Madden and Wallis)

Simon & Wally Fraser played for us as well.

Therefore Mark Fraser was correct.

"Bloody Umpires" wasn't quite specific enough to be counted as correct.

Next questions.

How many players with the first name Craig have played for Essendon?
Who are they?

PS There's not many.

How many players with the first name Dean have played for Essendon?
Who are they?

PS Only a few more than the Craigs

Only 2 Craigs? - O'Brien which I thought of & Barbary which I looked up.
Only 4 Deans? - 3 Recent (Wally, Solly & Rioli) and Hartigan.

There's another Dean.
And he's still involved in AFL circles.

Craig is correct, though, there have only been 2 to play for us.
