I'd like to think I know my current day footy, although many would disagree.
I definately know it better than my history.

It was Round 15 by the way.

D-Mc was a bit before McVeigh.
He played the last two games of 1997, the last game being Mark Harvey's last and the day Lady Di died. He then didn't play again until 2001.
He debuted around the same time as Heff and JJ, Blake Caracella was earlier that year.

Mark McVeigh was drafted in 1998 and debuted in 1999.

We had some cracking debutants in 1997.

Matthew Watson, Matthew Banks, Andrew Ukovic, Andrew Bomford.

Back to players between 1939 and 2006
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

1. I played more than 50 games for Essendon, but they were not the only club I played for.

2. My time at Bomberland was just before a Premiership era but i wasn't good enough to be included in any GF team and was traded.

3.What Comes First?, the Chicken or the Egg?

I was in Qld watching harveys last game on tv. Remember the crowd after the game? I think it was Ian Roberts said as harvey was doing the lap,"I don't think ive ever seen such a send off this passionate for a retiring player".

The lap went on for ages.Got it on video that game,Lloyd in fine form that day i recall:thumbsu:

Yeah, Lloydy was in great form. Che played just about his best game from the club. Both kicked five.

Wally getting three Brownlow votes in his mates last game.
