Non EFC player from the 70's and 80's


1. I played over 200 games for my club and kicked over 300 goals.

2. I played for Victoria.

3. I was made captain of my club in my last year but poor form and injuries led to a dissapointing year and I retired at the end of the season.

4. I am a Premiership player.

EFC Player.1900-2006

1. I played over 100 games for the Dons.

2. I came from an eastern suburbs club before joining EFC.

3. I played at HB,HF and occasionally in the ruck.

4. I played all my games for EFC without a break.

5.I am a Premiership player.

6.Later after my footy career,I became involved in commitee roles at a league club.

This guy played for 4 clubs all up. He shares the same surname as a Bomber coach and legend. Some would label him the Mark Mercuri of the 70's. Bagged 10 goals in a game. :confused:

The only bloke that matches most of that is Fabulous Phil Carman (dont know the bomber coach though)

Sorry to say, but incorrect son. This guy played for Essendon, hence the reference to baby bombers mk1.

Yes there is- he played a couple of years for the Dons in the late 70's- would have taught the young bombers a few tricks too. He played in one flag at his first club.

Some of the older bombers remember his style- it wasn't too bad for a journeyman.

I went to my first game in 78 when I was 8 and don't remember his name.
But who remembers anything at that age...I did like Ken Fletcher at the time though:D

Question....what Junior club did Gumbleton come from before joining Peel Thunder?

1. I was a junior high jump champion and hurdle sprinter.

2. I had a horror debut in the early 90's playing against Essendon in the Fosters cup.

3. I only played about a dozen games in my first 2 years at my club.

4.I am a Premiership and All Australian player.
