John Coleman is right. JC = son of god.

Drew it is easier being on this side of a cryptic challenge. I have fulfilled Nobby's punishment and done a couple so I'll bow out. Your turn.

haha!! excellent work sen-bloke. You had me stumped thats for sure. very clever stuff.

Now I know there are dozens of you people here on this board who have loads of oppotunities at work to read BF and waste your bosses time.

So have a go at making up a cryptic question. Its not that hard. Don't be shy.:)

It would be good to get one up every few days and it gives loads of people more reasons to slack off at work.:thumbsu:

Not sure if he played in the 1996 heritage round or not (probably not) but try Scott Cummings. Not sure about his teeth either but the goals and games should be about right.

No. Wore a lace-up Jumper most of his career, I believe.

Led the Essendon goalkicking (with 47) in his 2nd year, when he also got 6 Brownlow votes.

Played under coaches Bill Stephen & Barry Davis and Captain Ken Fletcher.

Wore false teeth.

Found out by researching the last clue. Didn't know about the lace up jumper or false teeth but number 15 and won't post his name because I have cheated. Shame on me.

Who's this Bomber??

Cryptic: Full capacity, plus the shortest direct distance between two points.

Other clues:
Probably should have played for Adelaide, but ended up a Bomber through and through... although he played with the Saints (won a B&F), then a dozen games for the Bulldogs near the end.

-8 Seasons at Windy Hill.
-210 Career goals
-33 career Brownlow Votes (9 in his best year. Twice received 7 votes)
-Topped Essendon's goal kicking one year, but also played back.

Not sure about the Adelaide bit but that's Max Crow.

Wayne Primmer was the other one of yours.

Stuck on the Eleanor Roosevelt one but Hird must be the Norse Brownlow medalist.
