Hawthorn has made a stunning bid to usurp St Kilda and claim Jake Carlisle from Essendon in a three-way deal involving North Melbourne and Jed Anderson.

Under the deal being negotiated Hawthorn would give up their first round draft pick and Anderson and receive Carlisle from Essendon.

Anderson would go to North Melbourne along with Essendon's pick 41 and the Bombers would receive North's first round pick (15) as well as Hawthorn's (18).

The net effect of the trade would be: Ha

Thing with Hawks is if they want him, they'll go for him. They won't piss about trying to dick us.
Honestly, St Kilda have been absolute *******s here. Richmond and Hawthorn are both FAR more attractive options as clubs, both being far more realistic in trade terms.

Get in Carlisles ear. If his mind doesn't change in the next 24hrs, enter mediation immediately.

St Kilda will get reamed there, despite mediation not being enforceable.

Pick 15 and 18? Do it.

Would give us five picks inside the first 30.

Hell, we only need four, couple 15 and 18 up and offer to GWS for 7.

Jake a fair chance to choose the Hawks now. Saints have ****** it, its just their way, they could've snapped him on day 1.

It's incredible isn't it?

This could have and should have been done by midday on Monday (allowing of course, for the fax transmission to go through, the transmission receipt would recognize the transmission as having commenced at 10:03am).

You know when there is a scenario in which you will be able to have you cake and eat it and these scenarios are usually known well in advance of the trade period (the deal for the two Adelaide picks was open to be made last week and it was open to be rejected).

I hope this does turn on St Kilda because it is utterly ridiculous to try to maintain an argument that pick 5 is not reasonable for a 198cm prove CHB/FB who will push All-Australian selection and take you through the "premiership window" you are building towards.

They ran the gauntlet and they can collectively suck a fat dick if they lose out because they got greedy.

If they even manage to land a KPP with pick 5 the odds do not favour that player turning out to be as good as Carlisle.
