Sticking his finger up at the WCE supporters was funny, if a bit undisciplined.

Now he has tried to stitch up Josh Hunt at the tribunal. It is pretty rare for a player to do that.

It's not something I'd like to see a player from my club do, but that is just my opinion.

I wouldn't normally expect a player to dob in anybody. Not the done thing imo. But, if Hunt happens to go along and plead guilty to striking, what is Egan supposed to say. He'd look a right goose if he denied it.

Even the tribunal chairman made mention of Egan's 'frankness' regarding these comments.

Maybe. But do you really think it made a difference? He went from 3 weeks to zero. I just can't see the big deal here.

Unfortunately I don't think Eegs is the smartest bloke to take to the field.
I'm hoping it is just immaturity that will fade fast.

It is nice though to finally have a clown to make us laugh because we only get to see Richo once or twice per year.
