I imagine they'll just give us the 11 teams below us on the ladder, and when you're as much of a powerhouse as we are that makes sense. It would be funny if Hawthorn dodged us again though.I wonder if they’ll fixture us against Richmond next year. Usually they want to milk these type of player movements for all they’re worth (well, except for fixturing JHF in Melbourne), but at the same time they’d be super keen to artificially boost up their lovechild clubs by keeping them away from the juggernaut we are.
We haven't played Hawthorn yet.I wonder if they’ll fixture us against Richmond next year. It's 12 rounds next season.I imagine they'll just give us the 11 teams below us on the ladder, and when you're as much of a powerhouse as we are that makes sense. It would be funny if Hawthorn dodged us again though.
easy decision imo out of those names thoIt will be interesting to see where she plays next season, perhaps she splits her time between halfback and the midfield.
And does it put pressure on players like Tripodi, Craven, Smith and Bresnehan to keep their spots.
Luckily Crocks has about 8/9 months to work it all out.
also we got lucky this year to be relatively injury free
odds are someone (maybe a couple) gets injured from our best team for a chunk of the year like kearney did
easy decision imo out of those names tho![]()
you should be well aware of who i am referring to that gets replacedDon’t you dare bad mouth my avatar. Also, Smith is on a roll and getting better. Good luck to anyone trying to push out Ruby and Tess. Ain’t no easy decisions in our team of superstars.
If we had only average or below average players over 30 playing and then we got in more of them then it would be an issue. However our over 30s are more than average and the players we get in are also the same so keeping the Grand Final window open for as long as possible should be our main objective..Indeed it is. And topping up the current list, with it would appear a very good player, irrespective of her age and possible longevity in the game, in my opinion at least, makes very good sense.
We have easily the best list in the competition - feel free anyone to dispute this. As the nostril has stated, we have a lot of over 30s (kearney, shierlaw, rennie, wright, king, garner). Everyone of those was crucial in assisting us win the flag this year.
In my eyes at least, everyone of those has another year or two of very good football in them. Why not try to get another flag next year and a third in 2026? Surely adding a very good player in Sheerin to top up the current list must make us better in the short term.
Imagine that. Three flags. Marvelous stuff.
And then we might fall off a cliff. Would that be the worst thing in the world? I think not.
The bloke who cuts my hair (more accurately known as a "search and rescue mission") is a Tigers man.
He has said to me, " Who cares about the winning the spoon this year and maybe again next year? Winning just one flag, let alone three, was more than enough of a salve to compensate for 2024."
And they will be back in the premiership business in 4 to 5 years time after this year's draft haul.
They tried to break us by making us play adel , bris and dees all away this season - we said **** that we’ll just go undefeated.I imagine they'll just give us the 11 teams below us on the ladder, and when you're as much of a powerhouse as we are that makes sense. It would be funny if Hawthorn dodged us again though.
Gatt's another player who may have to go to another level to keep her spot. And I'm a fan of hers.It will be interesting to see where she plays next season, perhaps she splits her time between halfback and the midfield.
And does it put pressure on players like Tripodi, Craven, Smith and Bresnehan to keep their spots.

Sheerin is a similar height to Garner, so we could go in with two big midfielders for a few centre bouncers as well. Because of her size and versatility she gives us so many different options. It’s just a shame we have to wait 6/7 months to find out how this is all going to work.I love this club.
Our AA superstar Garner goes forward for a rest to be replaced by another AA in Sheerin. Ruby and King do the in and under while our other AA superstar Ash destroys them on the outside giving time for our younger mids take turns honing their craft.
After what we did this year they wont want to go to bed! Its like a horror movie for our opposition next year, one in particular, "Freddy Kruger", only this time its not Freddy they have to worry about, its our whole team!Starting midfield: Garner, Riddell, Sheerin.
Our opposition won't be able to sleep at night!
I’m not a fan of all chips in, win as many premierships as possible now then fall off a cliff.
We are in a strong position, our aim should be perennial contenders for decades to come.
So 30-40 years from now we are the team with the most premierships. That’s how you build foundations for a club that will last for ever.
you should be well aware of who i am referring to that gets replaced
and no its not the person in your avatar
