Ive missed voting by a few months, but i would vote for labor, the government has lied to the people way to many times eg children overboard. We need a change and i believe that kev is the right man for the job. Also the IR laws are a joke.

Liberal. If it aint broke, why fix it?

Because howard gets it from George Bush.Get rid of our Aussie from Iraq,i'm sick of paying for that shit because Howard and the well known make everything gay Yanks are afraid of someone with a beard.

By the way they both suck, but at least they don't take all your wrights away.

I just hope family first get no votes,i bet they the jerks who put a sticker on a music cd with a scary cover and because it's loud but leave some half naked Kylie or pop star promoting her crap

They probably stop someone buying adult movie in their state or hiring it in the Video Shop when it's their choice but the real classic is some video games being banned, that's so funny and Ren and Stimpy Season set being modified ha ha because of it being too violence missing certain episodes.

So, we have a new federal government. Australia convincingly voted in Rudd and Labor.

Will the sky really fall in? Will the Unions 'come back' and disrupt Australian workplaces? Will unemployment rise? Will small business suffer? Will economic growth and interest rates be affected?

On the other side, how will the Liberal party go in opposition after 11 years in government? Who will lead? Turnbull? Nelson? Abbott ()?

Another greeny? :D

nay im an inbetween. worried about the unions in regards to my profession (will be managing a worksite = figure it out) and i despise the coalitions old arrogance, racism and deceitful lies. plus i grew up with howard on the helm so wanted a change.

FTW I did vote for labor.

I want to see your face when Rudd never apologies to the Aboriginals.

I also want to see your face when Rudd doesn't do a single thing to help our internet woes.

;)

Decent broadband is $50 a month from iinet. I can live with that.

The Perth median house price is around $460k, and interest rates are still relatively good, even if not on the decline.

I think housing affordability is a bigger concern than internet woes.
Perth prices will drop, not a huge amount but they wil correct

It's still hard though - when we buy our new (Melbourne) house almost half of my take home pay will be on the mortgage - and that's with me on a decent salary after a sizeable deposit.
