Far out Richmond supporters are posting their manifestos in that decision thread on their board and asking for the names of the people who were in the ARC. They’ll have to put them into witness protection.

I’m in tears reading that thread. It’s so good.

It's honestly the craziest reaction to a line ball decision I've ever seen. Some are saying that the AFL releasing additional footage will help put this to bed - I put it to those people that nothing is changing the majority of these peoples minds. Only the fair and balanced would be convinced at that point and we can all see how few of those supporters follow the Tigs!

Strong QAnon vibes

Either that or overly pampered pre-teens

Plenty have been don't worry. Lynch was clearly off his mark when he took off but it doesn't look like the umpire had signalled anything when he took off. Tough to ping someone for 50 because you're slow to make a call though!
Ump would have called “play on“ which what Andrews would have heard, probably a second or two before raising arms, not quite simultaneously

I gave up after reading 5 pages with just the same angle of footage. Ignoring depth of field as a concept completely.

Oh well I can't blame them all too much, I'm not too sure our meltdowns wouldn't be all that better.

That fact people are still focussed on their reaction after nearly a week suggests this is accurate.

The AFL won't cave to the demands of irate fans. And neither should they.

What the AFL and journalists need to do is start talking about the fact that even if the review was wrong THEY WERE STILL AHEAD. All they needed to do was have their KP FORWARD out of the defending goal square and their very good defenders do their job.

It's Jacky-boys fault they lost. Which makes me smile and laugh out loud. And makes the sky bluer, and the sunshine brighter.

Fact of life is that we caught a break.Once the goal umpire called it a goal we were up against it.There is no way that the ARC footage indisputably shows it to be a behind.
If they had followed their standard procedures the decision would not have been overturned.

But the ARC decision was indisputably correct.
Yeah its as simple as an x and y marked out through the two or more camers showing the line of the ball.
And it shows the ball was on top of the post.
I'd imagine you only need one camera on the line of the goals ( X axis) and one directly in front (Y axis).
Simples.
Unless the cameras were not in sinc. mha ha ,mha ha..
Edit, just explained what I meant with the x and y being x axis , y axis , Being in brackets, just in case any Tiges were lerking :D .

Nah, Richmond almost caught a break being payed a goal they didn’t kick.

Can’t blame the fans for being upset but the coaching and senior leadership staff should have put an end to the whining in the media IMO. Could you imagine Fagan sooking about it a week later?

Geez, the way majority of Richmond supporters are being abusive to us, you would think we made the final decision on whether it was a goal or not...

...anyway, they lost it themselves when 5 players couldn't stop Joe from kicking the winning goal...they might also want to re-visit the vision of when

young Wilmott was given the free because their player played on/crossed the line (just forget exactly what for) but it also shows Hardwick up in the box

very plainly calling their player a "f...ing idiot" for allowing that to happen..

Go away, read your own board, wallow in self-pity/poor us over there......we don't need you here if you are going to carry on with dillusional tripe.

After watching Riewoldt on AFL 360 last night and they showed the replay again of the goal review something suddenly stuck out at me. Not sure whether been mentioned and i must admit i had the volume down but noticed when Lynch played on Andrews moved off the mark before the umpire had waved his arms for play on. Not sure whether umpire had called play on before but geez i must admit it looks like it should have been a 50metre penalty. Maybe another thing the Richmond people can be complaining about.:D
Just watched the replay - the umpire a bit further away calls play on before this. Doesn’t look like Andrews goes early.

And Lynch himself. 800k a year for that.
that is the point people make mistakes. Robbo missed one he normally get at the G a few weeks ago.
The Goal ump was not sure a goal or not.. Should just said not sure instead of goal.

Dimma still complaining is a bad look as I keep saying was not the last kick of the day.
2 mins was plenty of time for us to kick two.
Not happy when Fagan does not say we need to be better or mulligan stuff after we got smashed
Although Dimma, Scott, Clarko always try a distraction on a loss instead of just saying we lost
