I am skeptical of him being right BUT the fact the club is talking about him training on tuesday seems like a positive. when players do zero work and just front up for thursday training, that's when you know it's a genuine roll of the dice

maybe club has posted something, but looking at the replay, thought it was his left leg that suffered

I am a bit like you with him being fit, surely cannot be 100%, but suppose we will get a better idea on Tuesday and Thursday

Bit different in a final, club will be much more likely to take a risk. They'll have a backup plan if he goes down as well you'd think, I don't remember if Starc played against GWS last time but he can play key position if required IMO although it does leave us extremely short in the air

Yeah Andrews, Joyce, Lester, Zorko and Brain really hurt us in the last quarter and 5 minutes. Up to then our midfield dominance meant the Giants only kicked 5 in close to 3 quarters

I think Answerth makes a bid difference to the balance of the backline and hopefully Andrews works through not getting everything his way

I don't think we are a full 4 quarter team to be honest (not sure any team is with the pace of the game). We seem to be a team that wants an early lead then suffocate any momentum from the other team.

I think because we've taken the foot off the gas on a few occasions this year and been run down that our second half performance on Saturday impacts us more than it should.

I noted Harris had 93% game time, he is usually between 90 and 100, did he spend his 7% off all in one chunk at the end?

As a side not Joe is often 100%. Pretty impressive.

I've taken it to realise that how few actually paid any attention to the end of the game. There was zero commentary that Andrews was off the ground and Hipwood was playing back on McKay (Lester on Pittonet) when they kicked 3 junk time goals. Its like they just saw the end score worm and said Brisbane arent that good as they let Carlton come back a little.

I'm totally fine with less attention and media favouritism as I think we do better as underdog. But it just re-emphasises the complete lack of competent analysis our games get from the media
