Elimination Final 1 | West Coast Eagles v Essendon | Optus Stadium
Competing Club Members | 9am - 1pm, Tuesday August 27 AWST
General Public | 2pm, Tuesday August 27 AWST

Tickets sold through Ticketmaster

My strong suggestions:
- Have your membership barcodes ready
- Have a Ticketmaster account logged in and set up properly
- Link payment card to the Ticketmaster account or have it on hand

This prevents any unnecessary delays that can cause you to lose the tickets, as they only hold them for a certain time

If you aren’t a member and want tickets, you can ask for x number of barcodes in this thread
If you are a member and can’t go you can consider private messaging your barcodes to those who want them
DO NOT POST BARCODES IN THE THREAD

My tip would be don’t select “Best Available” cause it’s probably not going to be what you want, choose the category you want

Hi guys, quite the contrast here with such little activity in your ticketing thread, and the Lions Finals FAQ thread up to 6 pages. I guess that's the difference when you guys have been in it so recently and 10 years since we've had to worry about it.
There has been a lot of anxiousness at our end about the process and ticket allocation. We just got the seating map yesterday afternoon, and now the final worry is selecting seats.
As you're the first game to have tix going on sale this week, I thought I'd poke my head in to see what concerns there were and how badly the AFL can stuff up what should be a simple and fair process.
Now that we know the ticketing categories and which sections they apply to, we are now hearing that we won't get to select our seat. Is this the case? Do you only get to pick a category, and then your seat is a lucky dip?
Can a finals ticket buyer (past or today) confirm what you actually get to choose, regarding seating? My preferred seat happens to be in the cheapest category at the Gabba (actual preferred seat, not price driven), which is at the fence, ground level. If I choose that category and end up getting seats assigned somewhere else, I think I'd rather watch from home.

Any insights appreciated.
Good luck with your game. I imagine you should progress to the semi after this game. :thumbsu:

Usually you just pick a category and get assigned seats randomly in that area, yes.

If I had known it would be this easy - I would’ve bought them myself from work

Good luck to the everyone waiting for this afternoon :)

Yeah if u have no link just open second browser, search west coast, and then click on members tickets just need to type in barcodes and select each ticket choice for each barcode membership.
