Deducting common players
Barlow, Selwood, Mayne, LeCras, Nason
vs
Carazzo, Silvagni, Naitanui, J.Riewoldt + 186

Will lose by about 100....:(

Going to be neck and neck. I have lots of players, such as Higgins and Goddard who haven't fired this week. I'm 11/1017 (inc captain so 12/1017) while he is 12/981) with Bartel to play tomorrow. Looking at the who is to come I am staring down the barrel here.

My bad. I meant Trengrove. Hooker also let me down. He is not a high-scorer, but he is usually good for 65 a game. Cyril was also terrible. On Henry Slattery as well!

No Pears so Hooker was always going to play a true KPP defender.

He always plays KPP, but he normally gets the second best forward. Playing on Franklin was always going to be bad for his scores. Pears still 7 weeks off. :( Hopefully a little more freedom against Port.

I doubt any team would be in the eliminator, if the team was made after round 2. Im sure there was the amount needed for the eliminator first week.

Anyway, Ive had a poor start to the year, and my team is ranked in the 100 000's (elim ranking). I'll be a dangerous team, to people thinking they'll get an easy game.
Im 1100/13 no (c)
Them 810/13 no (c)

So im looking good, but i doubt my ranknig will increase, soo spew

Me: Waters, Mackie, Bartel (c), Gibbs, Selwood, Sandilands, Pavlich, Chapman

Opponent: Duffield, Shaw, Silvagni, Rosa, Naitanui, Byrnes, 244 points

Will be close & am not confident of getting through.

My opponent has a few players that could easily score some huge totals to bury me. On averages I should get up by about 100 points but I can see myself falling short.

This has not been anywhere near as comfortable as I hoped it would be. :D

I'm against a bloke who has 14 Essendon players and NOT Stanton or Hille :D
Well thank christ for that. He had -

Watson 122
Winderlich 117
Prismall 128
Welsh 110
Ryder 104
Dempsey 83
Gumby 69
Davey 76

I think i should just win but it's alot closer than i had originally thought.

Got a 31 point lead against Bluehope. They are sitting 28K and im 73K overall. Ive had a shocking start to the year.
Players left are:

ME: Enright, Newman, Hurn, Pendles, Selwood, Bartel (C), Ottens, Didak
THEM: Nason, Waters, Silvangi, Judd, Bartel, Sandilands, Chapman (C)

On paper I should have them covered but knowing my luck this year ill lose.

The guy I'm playing has a rubbish team - absolute rubbish....

But it does include no less than 14 Geelong players on the field (plus another 6 on the bench), with them playing Richmond this week I'm a little worried he'll pull off a miracle!

Excluding Pav and Sandi (common)

Barlow, Mayne, LeCras
vs
Silvagni, Naitanui + 178

I'm gawn!

Edit: and now coming up to half-time - Mayne has a serious leg injury - poor bloke - puts losing my Eliminator in perspective!
Half-time: Barlow 56, Mayne 39, LeCras 47 vs Silvagni 18, Naitanui 18 - now just 72 behind. If the 2nd half is the same as the 1st (with Mayne getting 0), then I'd lose by 5 pts!

Mines still going to be close

ME: Hurn +222
vs
THEM: Waters, Silvangni & Sandi

Me: 1803 (Barlow)
vs
Them: 1633 (Barlow, Cox, Naitanui, McPharlin, Ballantyne)

****ing Seaby, Waite`and Ablett. Could be close.

You'll be safe...but lucky. Nick Nat, McPharlin aren't going well and apartently Ballantyne copped an injury during the game (not sure if true but if not he is having a shocker as well)

It's a bit like Carlton over the last decade - you know that you ain't gonna win the whole thing but you hope that you can have a good week and sneak a win... :D
