Playing a guy ranked 120k averaging 1620..... the hell did he get this far. Im a little dissapointed. I win most of my leagues lol and like a close heart thumping victory in the eliminator.

Ranked 202 last week, drew a guy ranked 14748 & 38000 overall (Bob's Mob).
I average 100+ ppg more than him so I will probably get rolled. Broughton out might hurt me, but I'm not trading him.

Got someone who is ranked 137K overall, yet he was ranked 7150 last week in eliminator. Says his average is 1701 but got 2142 last week. I am 28K overall and had a weak week last week being ranked 15510 in Eliminator last week.
Is this a bloke who made his team in either round 2 or 3? Or did he just have an awesome week last week?

We made a team for one of my boys prior to R2. He is ranked 150K. I'd suggest the bloke you're playing did the same, and probably has less Demons in his line-up than my boy.

Ha-ha I hope so, every week I feel that I'll do it pretty easy and every week it comes down to late Sunday afternoon before I'm confident of a win. I dont remember getting past 5 team's before being thrown out. Never been consistent enough to do any damage in eliminator.
I suppose it's a pretty hard thing to win because you only need one bad week and you end up playing a gun team. I suppose there's an aspect of luck as well.

I have noticed that VS has removed some teams from the competition over the course of the season. What happens if VS removes a team that has defeated your team in the eliminator?

There was three versions of a team with the same coach name and exactly the same team line up ranked in the top 50 for the weekly two or three weeks ago. Two copies of the team were removed.
It would be quite possible that two bogus copies of this team may have defeated some opponents in the eliminator (unfairly I might add).

Up against a team who averages 1997 where as I average just over 2000, going to be a tight one this week!

He could have easily just made a lot of decent trades. I averaged around 1800 for my first 4 weeks, but since then I've been cracking 2k regularly, 2100's for the last 3 weeks.

Had a nice start with my opponent having Ablett as captain. He scored well, but there was no 140+.. He also had Chapman who scored well, but below his average.

bit disappointed after last night. 906/8 with my captain in Gablett playing below par. He had Bartel as captain so got a few on me there. Should be close, I may struggle though as I will be pulling a doughnut with Gray missing and Jaensch suspended.

Ok i'm confused.. 1296 from 13. But there is 13+captain, so 14. Also you say you had Kennelly, in which case that is 15 because the 0s count this year.
I hate people who say this shit. Guess what, a captain is still only 1 player, who's score is doubled, it ain't 2 bloody players! It is fine to say your captain has played, but people who say 2093/23 is just plain stupid. And I wouldn't count on your last point, just quietly (yes I know the rule, before anyone states it).
Same, it's a killer. Nobody should be scoring like that, especially a tall defender. My guy could've at least been considerate enough to have Kennelly to even it up a bit.Had to play a guy with Lake in his team didn't I?
