Two things are telling.

You wouldn't have thought she entered the water with shoes on. If she had gone for a swim, she would have taken a towel.

The dog was out. Had the dog been let out? Is there no gate? You wouldn't presume so. I doubt the hefty labby jumped a fence, and she certainly wouldn't have gone for a decent run with him as he would have run out of puff. Was the gate left open?

The Labrador was found at the neighbours house that the dog knew, keeping in mind that it was a holiday house. It was not the dogs principle place of residence yet the dog went to the neighbours where the dog knew the residence.

Media re referring Elisa as "Ms" Elisa Curry.

If Elise Curry shut down social media accounts 3 days prior, this puts up the possibility she was being stalked by someone and shut her accounts so she wasn't followed by potential hacked accounts etc.

We have so little to work with. However, police are not treating it as a murder as yet.

There is just so little to go on. My initial reaction was accident, tripped and fell and dealing with an area that size could take ages to find. (It can take search parties 12-24 hours to find someone in the bush). But surely she would've been found now.

Suicide: Only likely is she has jumped off a cliff and her remains have been taken out to sea on the current. (By now I'm thinking impossible to find).

Foul Play: Possible. But how? Most likely snatched off the track. Possible I guess but there is so little to go on.

I think it is suicide given how little is being said. If it was a missing persons case it would generate huge publicity.

Did the dog wander back? Or just go to the neighbours? Labs get very attached and are more likely to stay with their owner or lead any rescue attempt back to them. Most likely they would stay with an owner and bark for attention.

As to the swim. Likely she would have gotten changed, left a towel, top, phone etc on the beach as well.

Also do we know she was stalked? Just as likely she got sick of Social Media and deleted/took a break.

ty.

Really tho? There's only so far one can get on foot (unless she drove to a track) and you wouldnt not run off a man made track. Would you??

I doubt you could in that area, it's so hilly/dangerous.

I heard the dog was found at a neighbours house and was "distressed". That's what I heard.

1. Discussed a personal matter with neighbours at grandfinal

2. Shut down social media 3 days before. *To me this has stalking all over it

3. Vanishes into thin air. Why are the women so good at vanishing into thin air? *Lorrin Whitehead (Vic), Robyn Santen (WA). Well educated women.

Dan whilst I agree with you that Robyn Stanten has technically disappeared the coroner made an open finding yet declared that her death had been proven beyond all reasonable doubt

"The Coroner found that the death of the deceased has been proved beyond all reasonable doubt. The Coroner concluded that the deceased entered the water at City Beach but it was not possible to find whether the deceased drowned, was taken by a marine predator or died from some other cause. The Coroner could not be satisfied to any degree of certainty of the deceased’s intention when she entered the water or thereafter and made an open finding as to how death occurred.

I fully understand. We still don't have a body, or evidence. No clothing, nothing. Sea breeze should bring in something. No dress left on the beach. She has gone in shoes and all then.

Extensive sea and shore rescue with helicopters. Ironically I was near there the next day watch. I was like WTF is going on. Mates all blew it off. Then we found out next day. There was people going everywhere. The chopper was running the dunes in case a body was in the back dunes.

Robyn Santen nee Paton was an ex member of Scarborough Surf Lifesaving Club. She should know how to swim.

Is there some sort of "101. How To Disappear" on the internet? Is Elisa a surf club member? Not implying connection.

While the deceased was with her friends in Northbridge, the deceased’s husband went to their home and dropped off a letter to her. The content of the letter was primarily a proposed custody arrangement of their children.
At 12.36am the next morning the deceased’s husband received a terse text message from the deceased in response to his letter. That was the last available evidence that the deceased was alive.
On 9 August 2015 the deceased’s brother and parents were unable to contact the deceased. Her brother and his partner found the deceased’s car at a beach car park in City Beach, with the doors unlocked, the keys in the ignition and the deceased’s mobile phone in the centre console. There was no sign of the deceased. Police conducted a search and an investigation into her disappearance. She has never been found.

Sorry for the cross pollination.
Robyn has well paying secure job, highly paid in Oil and Gas I think it was and at University of WA, I think. Husband drops off letter of custody. What is wrong with Australia Post? Did he rock up to rub it in?
Woman swims out in her nightclub gear, and drowns herself. Highly educated. Goodbye kids when I love you so much.
The coroners inquest is so they can issue a death certificate. Robyn went missing the same day of the year as Corryn Rayney. I guess there is so many murders, some have to line up. It was the imbolc, the cusp in the years seasonal transition.

Maybe Robyn decided in her environmental education at UWA, it was a wonderful night for a moon dance.

Speaking of mental illness, can anyone recall the fruit knife story? Yikes - some bad genes and DNA right there.

Well it doesn't look like there would e much trouble with the dog running off. Journo artistic inaccuracies?

I would say there is very little chance of the dog having been with her. Labs are (generally speaking) one of the most intelligent animals and there is a reason they are used for hunting. They can track ducks they didn't even see get shot so if the dog was with her and it has been a family pet for a long time (by the looks of its age) I would suspect that it would have at least headed back into the bush. More likely is the dog has escaped the yard after seeing Elisa leave the property.

People are creatures of habit so if she had indeed gone out for a run I am sure the family and friends would know what route she usually took.

Homicide squad not involved, stop trying to make this some massive conspiracy.. she has either topped herself or fallen into the ocean going for a run.. dog escaped and was found at/by neighbour..

Who on earth are you talking to? I don't think you know what a conspiracy is. Back off on the bongs.

Calm down, take a deep breath.

Just the broader area of where she may have gone. Any tracks she may have run.

The dog went to a neighbours house that the dog knew in a distressed state according the media.

Presuming shes drowned herself, plenty rocky ground so may sink. But she usually goes for a run.

The story has made national news. Just waiting for more news. Police are looking for her.

You cant run on the beach the whole way to Lorne from Aireys so I dont think its possible she fell in the water. Depends on what her normal route is, if a marathon runner I would assume she takes the edge of the road, Great Ocean Road has a sealed edge like a bike lane width most of the way. But once you head inland its just scrub and bush tracks, if she has a fitness level of completing marathons she could have gone anywhere. Looks like the police have botched it with not being able to use tracking dogs or they know enough to suggest it wasnt necessary. The chain of events makes it look like suicide to me.

There'd be tracks through the Angahook National Park that lead into Lorne I'd imagine. It's beautiful in there. You don't have to be on the road, I certainly wouldn't be, too bloody dangerous.

So has someone found where she is? We knew the homocide squad wasn't involved mr abuse.

You weren't telling us anything. Take ya high horse somewhere.... Like I said, back off on the bongs.

Read the posts again Frank(Abuser)Grimes. We knew the homicide squad wasn't involved.

Based on the 'personal' matter we weren't privileged too. They would have waited for a couple of weeks. No body, then the homicide squad starts.
