Hopefully one of the terms in Yeo's contract was a drastic increase of time spent in the middle.

I think it will happen, but right now the Eagles are shorthanded in talls down back, and have a surplus of inside mids with the lineup they're running out most weeks. If Selwood goes after this year, they drop some guys like Hutchings or Rosa or McGinnity or Colledge, and Mackenzie/Brown/Gov/Schoey stay mostly healthy next year, then I reckon Yeo will get more midfield time, and also do more rotating through the forward line (like Fyfe does).

Needs to get involved a bit more Yeoy, being thrown around so much hasn't helped him in the last month or so. Still shows signs of being a top liner, classy goal kicking and critical defensive marks.
A lot of our players have been allowed to settle in a defined role with obvious benefits to their game. Yeo has been thrown around all over the park from defence to attack to midfield largely due to a need to plug holes - he's done that admirably but if he gets the chance to settle as a mid that pushes forward look out

Yep, they need to take a leaf out of the Sheppard-Wellingham book, put him in the middle and half forward and leave him there.

agree with this. Rucking last week, full back on Pav this game. Can't wait for a full strength backline.

I think one of the reasons he holds so many of the screamers is that he doesn't always try to take it in one go. Likes to take the momentum off the ball and pluck it on the second go. Would wager he has a good sense for when he can get away with it too.

Didn't think he was particularly great while watching yesterday but t
he more I think about it it was a pretty good game.

One day he will rip a game apart by the scrotum.

Next year with a full set of KPD's - I doubt we will see him in defence

However for the next 2 weeks at least - I don't see how he can play anywhere but fullback

He even had to ruck last week...

Love Yeo as a player. Got the silk factor alright.
Really hope if your defence is healthy next year he becomes a pure midfielder that rests fwd.
Is that the plan fellas??
