Let's pump the brakes on the Fyfe comparisons... when Fyfe was this age he was winning B&F for a Dockers club that played in a grand final. It would be pretty cool if Yeo follows the Fyfe career path and wins AFL MVP in 2016 followed by being the runaway Brownlow favourite in 2017.

I do feel kind of sorry for Brisbane. Look at the players who bailed on them. Polec is a solid player who developed a lot last year. Yeo is coming into his own. Docherty is one of the few bright spots for the Blues, and Longer will probably be the Saints' ruckman for the next 10 years. And in none of these deals did they get fair value, plus they lost 2-3 years of development and had to start over. And Aish is gone after this year. No wonder they're so terrible. They have some nice players like Rockliff, Redden, Martin, Hanley, Rich, etc, but their depth is a disgrace.

I did feel sorry until I found out about their football academy they are building which will guarantee them the best talent in Queensland .

Last two weeks have been great. His athleticism for a big man is just awesome. He moves like a gazelle. Definitely quicker than Fyfe, just doesn't quite have the same strength (12kg lighter).

I had to look up who was number 6, was thinking it was your new Duggan kid everyone was raving about but obviously not. He was super impressive today, just killed us.

Nah Duggan was the guy who helped Monfries "almost knock himself out" in the 4th

We've got a good one with Yeo.

Do you think Ollie might like a change of scenery by any chance?? :D
I think Wines would have made a big difference for you guys tonight, hopefully you get him back soon.

Always looking to add good SA Wines to my collection.

Nice chase down too By Yeo On White who has a Good turn of foot , sorry Duggo .

You're right. He does remind me of a young Embley. Maybe even better.

Embley was pretty much a pure winger.

Yeo is a much more contested player who loves taking the ball away from the pack with his great ability to run at crazy subtle angles.

As has been said, very Fyfe like.

Hey guys, i managed to snare Yeo off the free agent list in my Ultimate footy draft comp at start of the season. I'm loving his recent form! Do you guys think he will continue in the midfield for the rest of the season and that he will average 20+ disposals for the rest of the year also? cheers.

Barring injuries, yes and yes.

Won't play down back with Wellingham doing well down there and Rosa coming back.

Everyone can see how valuable he is in the midfield to send him back now.

It would be like playing Fyfe as a backman because he's tall and good.

Should do mate, hes the main reason our midfield has been so competitive recently.

all hail King Yeo. long live the king!
Now now, don't forget about Jack - He is The King.

But I agree with the sentiment here. The win yesterday certainly helps to secure the notion in our minds and hearts that, although the midfield problems still exist, we are slowly getting the right personnel in there. The Gov ('nuff said) and Schoey being rejuvenated into KPD (was great yesterday, let's hope he keeps it up) has enabled this transition with Yeo. There is always a domino effect in teams and we are witnessing it here.

Post game glyocgoen stores replenishment?

Another encouraging thing about Yeo is that he's already shown he is capable of playing well in the midfield against the best sides in the comp, and not just against the lower teams. I remember being really impressed with him last year when he played in the middle against the likes of north and the hawks, and again he's been able to step it up against the power.
