Yeo has the potential/talent to be a good player but is a dumb footballer. He will be the type that will look awesome in a side thats flying.

Doc is the obvious answer here after a magnificent 2016 - B&F winner, named in the AA squad and probably unlucky not to make the final 22.

Yeo is seriously talented but unfortunately he stagnated badly in 2016. Had a shocking year - hopefully he can turn things around next year.

WCE fans were voting for Yeo over Bonti pre-season in a thread (now locked) on this board.
So much overrating of Yeo in 2016.

Doc is a gun, take him any day of the week. Excellent trade by Carlton.

I think you could put Yeo up against any player and West Coast fans would vote for the other player just out of spite given what Yeo served up this year.

Having said that he "should" bounce back next year if he pulls his head in.

Elliot Yeo has been the biggest disappointment for me this year. I expect far more out of him. He looks to have a lot of potential, and in some games he even fulfills that potential. But then it is back to mediocre performances. Elliot Yeo is a let down. I will never pick him in a head to head again. He is inconsistent and a serial non performer.

I don't think anyone can be blamed for hyping up Yeo this year, he showed a lot of potential in 2014 and particularly 2015, absolutely ripped games open, found a fair bit of the ball, kicked a lot of goals and took games on. This year he has seemed lost, lazy and just made plain stupid decisions all round.

He's still young and has the potential to turn it around, and I hope he does because his talent is undeniable at his best, it's more a matter of application.

This year, without a doubt Docherty was the better player, hopefully Yeo can improve upon his best next year and make it a bit closer between the 2.
