Dear AFL Live purchaser

We at Acclaim Entertainment are in the final stages of rectifying the issue that
has become apparent in our recent release of AFL Live 2004 and how best to
satisfy those consumers that have already purchased copies of the game.

Please bear with us until next week, when we believe we will be in a position to
advise you of our plan of action, but also be assured that "customer
satisfaction" with the game is our overall objective.

That sounds a lot more promising - I would have expected them to fob you off. What email address did you send it to? I might drop them a line as well, see if I can get a new copy.

for interests sake who is playing a pc version of this game?

only asking because the guys at eb boutique games said its release was being held off because acclaim knew of the bugs, dont know why the console versions were released if they knew of the problem

i sent an email to he "info" email at the AFL Live 2004 website and received the same word for word email from Acclaim. Probably an idea for those who have the bug to send an email to the same address, so they register your email address for follow up info.

no doubt you would have to have the recipt for the game which i got rid of straight away.

I have the recipt but I doubt they will re release the game for people that got the game on console.

I hope though.

For People that have the game on PC they will probably release a patch.

Does anyone know what is going on with the console versions? Are the new batches of patched games released yet and can you swap your bugged copy? Or are you expected to send your copy back to Acclaim who will issue replacements? News!!!
