Embarrassed probably wasn't the right word to use. It was just a cheap publicity stunt that did nothing for the club but further highlight the party atmosphere of the club at the time. I have nothing at all against Elle, she's a great.......errrr......ambassador for Western Australia.

Not sure if he's ever been our number 1 ticketholder but he just received life membership of the footy club at the AGM in December. You've mentioned Ivy Moyle from time to time, you'll be pleased she received life membership as well - for defending St Kilda on talkback radio no doubt.
Our number 1 ticketholder is John Moran I think.

The missus bought me a membership and happened (without knowing it) to be there on the 1st morning of the 1st day of sales. Sure enough my ticket arrived number 00001.
A tad optimistic having 5 digits for Victorian Members I feel !
anyway.....
oh and btw....I post this as a useless piece of trivia....not in anyway trying to demonstrate my extensive network at the club, or the fact that my grandfather once poured a beer for Russell Ebert.
