I know what you're saying.
But if you've ever seen a one inch punch, the physical part of the maneuver is probably the smallest component. The amount of neurological energy far outweighs any other ingredient. I don't see why someone couldn't take it one step further (We know people can set themselves on fire meditating) Not that these guys have and not that faking shit like this gets anyone anywhere but some youtube hits and a thread on SRP, where mostly intelligent debate happens.

What the hell?
A one inch punch is nothing special (it is in fact less powerful then a standard punch)
It's designed however to deliver maximum damage in tight proximity where you don't have room to swing a normal punch. (This is because the type of kung fu it evolved out of fights in very close proximity)
Like every other punch that exists its success comes down to weight distribution balance and timing.
The idea of the one inch punch is to rotate the fist as you swing thrust with your hip giving the deception of a one inch punch (its closer to 6) timed correctly will transfer your body weight behind the punch
Further more it is far more physically taxing then say a hook, just one or two missed one inch punches will leave you gassed. This is because of not only the timing but also because you must be very tense when delivering the blow.
There's literally hundreds of YouTube videos on how a one inch punch works, there's no mysterious "neurological energy" driving it.
