1. Geelong
2. Fremantle
3. Sydney
4. Richmond
5. Hawthorn
6. Collingwood
7. North Melbourne
8. Port Adelaide
9. Gold Coast (could push the 8 especially if Martin is as good as they say - combined with O'Meara, Prestia, Ablett - team of Rolls Royces)
10. Adelaide
11. Western Bulldogs (expecting a solid start, fade away and roaring finish, finals in 2015. Call me an optimist but there's signs of life)
12. Brisbane Lions (had they retained Voss I'd have them in the 8)
13. Carlton (the dreaded r word starts now)
14. West Coast
15. GWS
16. St Kilda (Seniors that have contributed enormously so far this year look cooked - if they fail during the FA/trade periods they are in for a world of pain)
17. Melbourne
18. Essendon (won't play for points, the way they're f*cking around the AFL. If they do and there isn't a mass walkout/sackings/bans, 5th)

1. Fremantle (It's Purple time)
2. Geelong
3. Western Bulldogs (Always one surprise team and i'm backing them to be it)

4. Hawthorn
5. Collingwood
6. Adelaide (Calling this season an abberation, with a bit of fire, better structures 2014 should be finals or Sando gets sacked)
7. Sydney
8. Gold Coast

9. Richmond (This is a strange one, but history hasn't been kind to them for the past 30 years)
10. Port Adelaide (I'm expecting the fall from grace and then to be one of the top 6 in 2015)
11. Melbourne (They have to sometime... and new coach as well)
12. West Coast (Could easily do what Adelaide are predicted to)
13. North Melbourne
14. Carlton (Rebuild)
15. Brisbane (Would of given them 8th had they not sacked Voss)
16. GWS
17. St Kilda (with the spoon)
18. Essendon ( I'd be amazed if they had a team)

Well done for accepting the truth and excluding your club from the ladder and indicating beforehand by putting Essendon outside the 17 team standings :p

*Assuming Essendon are playing for no points. If they are allowed to play for points, they will take 7th, North will move down one and West Coast will miss the 8.

A lot is going to depend on the type of draw teams will get.

Richmond and Fremantle (dream draw this year) will have much harder draws next year.

On the other hand, Adelaide, North Melbourne and West Coast will have have it a bit easier than this year and as we know by the ladder a game or two against softer opposition can be the difference between finishing 4/5 or 8/9.

Reasons:
Top 7 to be really close.
8-13 fighting over 8th.
Don't rate WCE list.
GWS will add some mature bodies and experience and overtake Melbourne.
Melbourne to be near winless.
