There is a lot to be said for Jarrad Moores contribution to helping bring a lot of or younger players through. I would say the same for Jesse White and Mark Seaby. Keep them on the list.
I agree about Moore. He's the captain, he has worked his guts out for the club, put his body on the line many times in the firsts. Not so sure about White or Seaby. I do think we need to keep one back up ruckman for Mummy and Pyke though...

I thought Moore was pretty much gauranteed a coaching position of some kind once he retired as a player, or am I imaganing having read that somewhere?

White should stay as ruck backup. Seaby should be cut. Probably time to move on Meredith & Gordon as well.

Moore for his own sake should have a crack with another club. Agree about Seaby and Gordon and probably Meredith and Spangher who is a list clogger if he can't get fit enough to play the majority of the season. White should stay , but he might want to go. If so should we go for Jonathon Giles who is out of GWS, thats looking at Pyke maybe having 2 more years, just a thought. We need to find another tall forward and a tall outside running midfielder.

Ah ok. I found an article, seems like he is an Adelaide boy, so what do you think the chances are of keeping him in Sydney to play for us?

Don't know,we would probably look at anyone out of contract who might fill a role.
A mate of mines son is being interviewed by the Swans today, tall and very athletic and a 2nd cousin of the Dumster

Didn't see Giles wanting to leave GWS coming. I know they are supposedly looking for a quality senior ruckman but he would be a perfect 2nd ruck/forward option for them I'd have thought. Maybe he wants to be the number one ruck somewhere.

Who is this young fella, bedford?

He came 5th in their B&F I believe and I thought he was pretty good this year too. There were pretty continual rumours all year that GWS wanted a bigger senior ruckman to take over the top ruck mantle so maybe that has tempted him to look elsewhere.

He'll be in demand after this year I think.

SNF is run by some of the agents, and they've had a history of running with stories that try to inflate the price/demand of their own players. Giles would be silly to go anywhere else, with Brogan retiring and not much ruck stocks (Phillips was good but still young and Folau is only a pinch hitter) on GWS's list, he'll play a lot in the coming years.

Yeh that is my thinking. Particularly if he is indeed looking to head back to SA where Jacobs is going to be the man for a long time for the Crows and Port have some young, likely lads already.

I do think Giles would get quite a few offers from all over the AFL if he is indeed intent on leaving GWS though. Perfect 2nd ruck/forward option and quite a capable first ruck.
